Yup, sufficed to say, the Tkachuk trade unfortunately hasn't panned out well on Calgary's end. Shame to see he appears to be on a downward trajectory.

We had a blast! It's a local promotion run by Bret Hart's sons, and runs in the same building Stampede Wrestling used to run back in the day, so lots of history and nostalgia (not that any of that means much to my son lol)

Yeah, Calgary had a promising core right there, but unfortunately the key pieces didn't want to stay. Gaudreau ended up leaving for Columbus and Tkachuk, following in his father's footsteps, made moves to get himself out of Canada.
