Oh, for sure! The nipple pain alone would make that bitch tap.
Nothing says macho more than wanting an excuse to beat up on a woman just for being trans and you know, going about her business as any other woman would. /sAlso a fair consideration! But then it's noteworthy in that in this scenario he'd still wants to transition and join the women's division to beat up a "fellow man" for...
Like the one dipshit Crystal was arguing with, guy's (probably not) finding out that you better think and word this shit super carefully unless they want to have things easily twisted. So much for being strong macho men, y'know?
Yep, I know women out there who could definitely compete at the same level as men because they were just that damn good at what they did. Goes to show that you should never take women for being inferior or weak.Strong girls are the best!
I believe I mentioned her... somewhere, probably in this thread. But in the long ago past life, at my physical peak, I was always paired up with and sparring against a cis woman named Tiffany. Who could easily hold her own against me - which, of course, meant she could (and did) steamroll the fuck out of most guys on the regular.
Oh, I hope he fucking does. I want to see this prick get everything he deserves and then some!Toxic masc dumbasses have literally no idea what they're up against or on about. Dude should absolutely transition and get his shit utterly stomped by the bulk of the women's division.
Brainworms are a hell of a drug.
Obligatory "Fuck Dave Chapelle" comment too, of course.
Let them embarrass themselves, show the world how uneducated & immature they are.The way I look at it is: The more they apply the words/phrases to asinine shit the less effective they are and the murkier the definition gets. It eventually reaches a point where it's just white noise and they either have to shut the fuck up finally, or move onto something else. Applying "woke" to the bridge tragedy(?) and its inevitable reconstruction will de facto turn away 99.9% of people, even those that would ostensibly be in their corner otherwise.
Nope, not even going to bother wasting my time on their buzzwords. I will instead dedicate my time to hugs & video games.See also: Soy(boy), CRT, other things I can't actually be bothered to remember at this precise moment.
What a fucking world we live in that lunatics like him even have a voice.........aaaand I also came across this. Just sick stuff.

Maybe the MAGAts will avoid using the bridge, reducing traffic for the libtards.....aaaand I also came across this. Just sick stuff.

If he gets the trifecta, then we might very well see that happen as well as many other laws that will impose further restrictions upon the lives of trans people. Fingers crossed the fucker doesn't get elected. His first presidency in itself had disastrous consequences. If Trump gets elected this cycle, sure. But otherwise that won't happen, and even in blue states that think voting R is acceptable behavior they don't have the support necessary to shove things through nor keep them there. The map looks like basically every other red state map for better or worse:
Movement Advancement Project | Health Care / Bans on Best Practice Medical Care for Transgender Youth
The policies depicted in this map reflect statewide bans, limitations, or restrictions on access to best practice medical care for transgender youth. Bans on best practice medical care represent one of the most extreme—and coordinated—political attacks on transgender people in recent years.www.lgbtmap.org

If he gets re-elected, I'm expecting the worst. The fact that Roe v Wade got overturned says all you need to know about how far they're willing to go to undo any amount of progress that was made over the years. Granted, we still have a long ways to go yet, but the damage such an administration can cause can really set us back to a point where things go back to the way they were when laws prohibited you from being LGBTQ+.Trump getting re-elected will absolutely have damning consequences, and I'm equal parts curious and scared to see what makes the cut versus what doesn't. The Republican party has a finite amount of red meat for their base, but all of that red meat is, of course, absolutely fucking terrible in practice and so none of the idiots would want it once they have it. Plus then the Republicans can't dangle those morsels in front of their rabid beasts to garner support in future elections, sort of how like Roe v Wade isn't there for them to use anymore and is hurting them, and they don't like/want that.
Democracy is functionally dead at that point for starters though, so it would not remotely surprise me to see the west coast functionally if not actually secede. To see NY+NJ+New England do the same. Infighting, coups, raids and riots - it'll be a wild time and I personally ain't ruling nothing out. I'll just be eating my popcorn on my flaming dumpster floating down shit creek towards the void, probably.
Howsabout we direct our focus on tackling the cost of living crisis instead? You know, actually do something that will be of great benefit.Just consistently dumb shit. Brainworms as far as the eye can see, doing fuck all but causing anxiety for a subset of people and thinking it means anything.
Kansas, like Utah before it, does not have the infrastructure (I mean they're red states FFS, they don't have money! lol) to actually do anything about it. They can't go after websites, and websites aren't going to give a fuck about the state of Kansas. Larger websites might block Kansas IP addresses, maybe, if they're worried about random lawsuits with zero evidence that don't go anywhere. But kids are smarter than adults so they'll use VPNs and shit while the old bigots will QQ about not being able to use PornHub and shit without Big Brother looking over their shoulder.
But yeah, taxpayer money well spent and all that.
The GOP and their wars. We've had the war on drugs and the war on terrorism, and we've seen how well that's worked out. Now we've got this stupid culture war, which I'm sure will be equally as pointless as any other war they've declared on whatever they feel like declaring war on.You'd think all these red states getting worse and worse off would eventually start waking the dumbasses up.
But, nope, will never happen. Just more boogeymen and scapegoats.
The ship will right itself any day now! Our children will definitely come back. Companies will definitely start investing in us once all the [INSERT MINORITY] are gone!?
I question whether or not I truly exist, sometimes. Yet these assholes can't even entertain the notion that a singular thought or belief they've been fed is wrong.
It's an expression of gender-fluidity/non-binary as well as an invitation to make use of rolling pronouns. A person might align with and use female pronouns, but express and at times prefer to be non-gendered. I'm not explaining this very well, but yeah, sometimes you can be a man, feel like one, call yourself he, and then break from gender and prefer to be they/them. It's not as flippant as that, but at a high level...So if this has been asked here I apologize but it's about pronouns
I get the idea behind them and gender identity, but some use fewer than others and will use one gendered but then un-gendered ones. Like someone will put down "He/him/his" but another person may use "He/they". I understand fully going un-gendered, but I dont understand the mix
Crystal's got you covered.
Insofar that gender identity is a spectrum without, like, actual anchors/notches/whatever it can be fairly complicated. But, as a general rule of thumb, She/They and He/They would usually be non-binary/non-conforming people that accept (or look/feel like) more of one/a side than another without necessarily strictly adhering to said side.
Our language is very restrictive, so best practice is to ask for preference once you're introduced to or get to know someone. Everyone's a bit different and all that.
Yeah, it's very complicated and I'll admit there are aspects I still don't fully understand when it comes to that. At the same time however, it is important to stress that not everyone falls in line with the gender norms which have been placed upon society. When most people think of gender, they tend to think of the two widely accepted beliefs: The roles and one's biological sex. These are the social constructs in place that define the characteristics of what makes a man a man and a woman a woman, and it's ridiculous imo because not everyone is uniform in that way. Everyone is different, appearances, characteristics & interests vary among individuals. It's an expression of gender-fluidity/non-binary as well as an invitation to make use of rolling pronouns. That's really neat. It's a nice statement, I hope there's some follow-through on it.Small little thing that I thought was nice for Trans Day of Visibility, a bunch of Canadian artists got together to form a letter against our anti-trans legislation.

It's nice to see people banding together to take a stand against anti-trans legislation. We need this in the wake of conservative provinces looking to enact anti-LGBTQ+ legislation (with Saskatchewan going as far as to invoke the Notwithstanding clause to force theirs through). Need to take a stand before it becomes too much of a problem like what's happening down south.Small little thing that I thought was nice for Trans Day of Visibility, a bunch of Canadian artists got together to form a letter against our anti-trans legislation.

Chaya being lit up during one of her seminars. Asked to define wokeness and she stutters like the idiot she is.
Fuck. Yeah.here with some positivity! in the courthouse today i walked through the hall where people have to post their notices of intent to change their name. when i did that myself in 2019 there was one other name similar to mine, changing from a “guy name” to a “girl name”
this time there were no less than six notices from people clearly transitioning. people abandoning their old names that didn’t fit for new ones that do. safe to say we’re not going anywhere

Article: Others I spoke to expressed frustration at Square Enix for a different reason: it was far too hands-on with the script. Sure, Life is Strange is a Square Enix’s owned IP, but sources told me Square Enix seemed oddly reluctant or outright hostile to the diverse themes and ideas that Life Is Strange fans love. For instance, multiple people recalled an incident during True Colors development where Square Enix told multiple developers it didn’t want Life Is Strange to be thought of as the “gay game.”
“There’s a lot of press out there praising True Colors for having the first bisexual lead in a Life Is Strange game,” said Mallory Littleton, a narrative designer who worked at Deck Nine on multiple Life Is Strange titles. “Even in our press guides from Square Enix, all the way up until [review copies were out], we were not to say anything about Alex’s sexuality, period, at all. And then they did the advance copies, and all of these reviews came out saying how amazing it was to finally see an explicitly bi protagonist, and after that, Square was like, just kidding, Alex is absolutely, canonically, 100% bisexual.”
Square Enix declined to comment for this article, but instead pointed IGN to Deck Nine’s response, which we’ve included in full at the end of this article.
It should be taken more seriously. One of these days, someone is going to carry through with it and people are gonna get caught up in the middle of it.Business as usual, sadly.
If the SWATting assaults/incidents from over a decade ago were actually taken seriously - they weren't, and a couple of people were murdered by the police as a result, and SWATting still happens to this day unabated - maybe we wouldn't live in this hellscape. Alas, that's not how any of this works in the US.
I'm sure some people will see articles and go "well if these godsdamned transexuals didn't exist this wouldn't happen" but obviously 1) fuck them and 2) nah these fuckwits would just do their unhinged bullshit against a different group instead.
At some point it's just easier to tune all the noise out. 7 more months to go.
It's a weird situation overall. You have these choices where you can choose your sexual orientation, yet the higher-ups don't want the game to acknowledge or endorse that, as if they would be ashamed to be associated with the LGBTQ+ community. That's sad to hear about Life is Strange. The very first time I was ever asked my sexual orientation was in that game. It might be the only time. It felt incredible to not be assumed to be straight, even if it was by an NPC.
It's weird Alex is officially bi. The game never says that. One character asks if you're into women, and you can answer that you're straight, lesbian, or bi. Alex never expresses interest in anybody unless you choose to. I don't think it mentions any past lovers.
But I guess anything that acknowledges that gay people exist is gay
Cuts their market in half not being able to appeal to bigots.as if they would be ashamed to be associated with the LGBTQ+ community.
Just like every other company that pretends they care, but in actuality, don't. Rainbow capitalism in a nutshell.Cuts their market in half not being able to appeal to bigots.
With that kind of attitude, it's going to come to a point where you're just not going to see any LGBTQ+ characters featured in games anymore, and if you do, you're gonna get the ones that enforce negative stereotypes. This is what happens when you pander to this type of crowd. By appeasing them, you enable them, and by enabling them, you let the negative attitudes people hold towards the LGBTQ+ community fester.Par for the course with monetarily-savvy bigots... for a time, anyway.
See also: Dumbledore is gay, with no in-universe relationships or in-book expressions/confirmations, followed by years of Living Brainworm & Now-Holocaust Denier JK Rowling doing what she does.
Correct. The repeat offender on basically all subjects relating to inclusivity, Golden Boy™ Naoki Yoshida (producer of FF14 and FF16, also an Executive Officer within the company), began his own brainworms campaign saying exactly that.
Article: In terms of values and our players, it’s a time when there’s a lot of changes in perspectives, but we can’t ignore the people who refuse to make changes in their values. There may be players who do not want to see male players wear attire that’s traditionally worn on females...We do want to respect freedom of self expression and that people want to dress the same way, but we do need to consider and be mindful of those who look at people dressed in a certain way and manage how they perceive things.
Agreed on all points. These are the issues I have with the games nowadays, and it goes back to my point above. This is what you get when you pander to that crowd.Yes he goes on to give an anecdote about a trans high school girl he passed by. Yes, FF16 has two gay men in a relationship together - and they're even allowed to kiss (before ostensibly dying later in the game IDK I haven't played it) - but, like Life is Strange, that's just the "give me money" pandering. Because, yes, FF16 has a gay couple... but it doesn't have unambiguously dark-skinned people. And the same man, Naoki Yoshida, made a big deal about why that was the case and how their fantasy game couldn't have Them Peoples in the world/lore because the game was set in Medieval Europe, which, as we all know (is wrong lmao), was only ever full of White People™.
Kudos to what the people on the ground, the grunts, manage to get into games like Life is Strange and Final Fantasy XVI. Half a kudo for at least greenlighting Forspoken, even if the game starts with Fray being in legal/criminal trouble not once, but twice. As a young black woman. Negative all the points for entirely regressing on female protagonists and well-rounded women characters in general, circa the days of FF6, and instead just pander to the worst kind of people and overtly sexualize or infantilize the very small number of women they can even be bothered to include in their games these days.
...I digress.
But it's plain as day what this company is about. And it ain't nothing good.
No, they can't. If they truly cared about being inclusive, they'd stick to their guns on that. But they won't because the only thing that matters is the bottom line. They're not going to tread that ground because it will cut into their profits, and they can't take that risk.Absolutely. To put it nice and succinctly:
The Tolerance of Intolerance is Intolerance.
They can not, in good faith, say that they acknowledge/respect a person's identity whilst also worrying about how that makes open bigots feel. If they're worried about bigots they de facto do not acknowledge/respect our identities and they need to take that PR bullshit and pound sand.
A bit off-topic here, but I shit you not. Some of the kitchenware I own were things that people were willing to throw out. Last year, I came across a Corelle dinner set someone was throwing out. I guess they were moving and they couldn't take it with them, or perhaps they had a new one. Idk, but whatever the case, I needed a set when I moved into my new apartment and so instead of dishing out (pun somewhat intended ) about $100 in kitchenware, I took the dinner set off their hands.Yeah, that's... unfortunately the standard approach in the US, too. Not with, like, anything in particular; with everything. Big part of why the world is in such a sorry ass state. It's cheaper - and there are less legal obstacles - to just throw stuff away than to donate it or give it away. So literal tons of "trash" is produced hourly, an insane amount of it being food or worn-exactly-five-minutes clothing, and... yeah.
