Grandmaster has a lot of uses, it's never the deciding card but I've seen some clever stuff.

if you run discard at all, the right loadout can grow Miek pretty well. otherwise the rest never really bother me.

She's not the obvious choice and I wouldn't actually buy her, but Makkari actually really works in that Sandman deck that's been at the top of the meta for a couple of weeks. It's worked very well for me.

I think the best actual card there is Namora. Again, her On Reveal deck has been meta relevant for a couple of months. I've had some good success with it.

But if you have the other cards to make it work, the recent Ajax deck looks like a lot of fun, and not many people are playing him, so there are equally not a lot of people running Luke Cage to counter it.

Any thoughts on last minute keys for Marvel Boy and Rulk? I don't have Gilgamesh but could buy him with tokens, and then I'd have the ideal Zoo Deck with Marvel Boy. Rulk fits in several decks that I already run. Seems like a good use of keys but I just haven't been able to pull the trigger because my decks are performing fine at the moment. I'm up to 94 in the first week with little difficulty.

Marvel Boy is likely the best card this month. Not that it's saying much. But I really like the card.

Rulk is a great stat stick and I've won many a game using him as a decoy. Top tier 6 drop IMO.

I get the impression that the game really does make you lag behind if you miss time, which isn’t ideal. My collection now is a mix of luck and judgement. I got the likes of Sage and Namora even though the ‘experts’ weren’t very high on either at the time, got some solid cards like Thena and Copycat who people were high on but which exceeded expectations, got lucky with Hope as a random extra card in a cache, and got the likes of Jeff and Nocturne from tokens. Things can change very fast in the meta, obviously. Part of the luck is that I didn’t get the likes of Cannonball, but now don’t need to because he’s dead.

OTA leak. Shame about Nocturne. The rest look fine. Quite clever balancing the Arishem change and Nova change so she actually becomes a more effective counter for him and less effective for everything else, though Thanos should see more play now. Looking forward to experimenting with Thanos and Marvel Boy with the Mind Stone change.

yeah, even as a "veteran" member now (even if not a great one), I really like the locations that mix up my deck, I think it makes it a super interesting challenge. Its not like they popped up every game, not even every day.

yeah, I truly dont get how people stick with only one or two decks.

if Im only having success with a single deck, even if I'm climbing, I get bored and stop playing. I'd rather lose and have fun than just play the same exact hand over and over.
