Correct. It reduces them temporarily to their base power, then the ongoing kicks back in because it is ongoing. Anything that is permanent, like due to shuri, does not returnwait no, followup then.
is that the same for location effects then?
an "on demand" one, like shuris lab it would negate? but "cards have +1 power here" is kind of an ongoing and WOULDN'T work?
I wonder if arishem can create gwenpoolGwenpool in my ShawSurfer deck featuring quantum tunnel.

I instinctively thought it had to activate, but looking at the text that's not what it says. I would have made the same mistake though. Did he jump to a Cosmo lane or something?did we know that werewolf by night will jump to an on reveal even if the on reveal doesn't proc? because it just cost me a game!
no, Magik but on turn 6.I instinctively thought it had to activate, but looking at the text that's not what it says. I would have made the same mistake though. Did he jump to a Cosmo lane or something?
and yeah, I agree the text is pretty clear on what it does, BUT it's slightly counter intuitive to how the game actually works typically.I instinctively thought it had to activate, but looking at the text that's not what it says. I would have made the same mistake though. Did he jump to a Cosmo lane or something?
ATTENTION THE GREAT AVENGER HAS SOMETHING TO SAYI wonder if arishem can create gwenpool
I wasn’t sure if she was in his poolI think it's a very small list that Arishem can't generate. I know they've confirmed Kang does not
I've definitely have gotten agatha before so that was a fun one.

Same here. I’m using one with darkhawk, blob, and devil dinosaurI am being very good, I am only up to 2 Arishem decks.
Hmmm, I wonder how many different decks he can create.I plan on playing all season with one arishem deck for lulz
I once had a deck that put 3 mystiques into my hand (one was my own), but didn’t have any other ongoing cards except Luke Cage. That was a bad matchHmmm, I wonder how many different decks he can create.
I have a method of upgrading cards that is incredibly inefficient but is like a little minigame for me, so it's not really that crazy
NOT THIS ONETeam, what play makes you feel like your at the height of your skills?
To legitmately answer this: snapping not because you have the Best Case Scenario for your deck, but because you can tell what they're going to do 2 turns from now and you can beat it.Team, what play makes you feel like your at the height of your skills?
Basically she will move in a situation to go from winning zero lanes to winning 1 lane even though that's not her text technically.@VashTheStampede I’m in Malaysia and in the lead up to coming here to type this I checked your time to see if you’d have replied, haha.
But really, wtf. @canadaguy @Avenger help solve this riddle.
Sneaky location switches/changesTeam, what play makes you feel like your at the height of your skills?
I am so turned on right now...So without knowing which/how many cards he can't create, including all released cards right now the total of 4.16 x 10^20 combinations of the 12 cards he generates.
Now we include your starting cards as well. Since we must include Arishem, this makes 1.77 X 10^19 different combinations of cards you could start with.
Then if we combine those two buckets we get, 3.69 x 10^39 different deck combos possible.
This is approximately the square root of the number of atoms estimated to be in the known universe, so praise Arishem for that.
There is a very good chance I fucked some math here
definitely when I feel like I've anticipated my opponents moves and prepared perfectly for it.Team, what play makes you feel like your at the height of your skills?
I play a lot of my games as I would a poker game. I slow play big hands, I'll even bluff if I have a good read on my opponent. One minor thing that makes me feel like I'm killing it is snapping to get 2 cubes.
Those moments where the boardstate is either even or you're behind and you think "I'm gonna win, but once I make this play they're going to retreat."
You can try and slow play, but then once you make your move they retreat and you get 1 cube. Or you Snap a little early and they stuck around, see they're fucked, but by then you get that extra cube as if you won a full match.
