Isn't it kind of the opposite? If you play Nico Minoru while the kill the next card to draw 2 spell is active, then play Hulkbuster onto a Deadpool - the Deadpoll dies, right?

I know the guardian hulkbuster interaction is how I described it because it frustrates me each time. Hulkbuster binds to something, then doesn’t die, even when the card it joined is weaker than guardian after the power boost

I might not snap back, but I wouldn’t retreat. I’d hope he tries to solidify the middle and I’d sacrifice it willingly.

Regarding pixie, I’ve rarely faced her so no idea

With the Zola play even if pixie let's them get wong and surfer, Shaw can't get big enough. Wong into ironheart could beat it if most of ironheart hits the right lane/Shaw.

Something like Shang, shadow King or valk left wrecks you (although I'd expect shang more than the others)

I'm guessing too that the pixie was their hub card, so probably their deck isn't really built to take advantage of her.

Like it obviously made Odin cheap enough to drop with surfer, but all that did was give false confidence

Correct - you can see it’s not in the cards revealed on the right.

I could’ve lost but only if he had multiple 0, 1, or 2 costs, which seemed unlikely.

Pretty clear was a surfer deck, so yeah gonna be more 3 costs than 0-2

I do think that properly kills Zabu off. Alioth too, probably. Can’t pretend I’m sad about Alioth. Think it was needed to be honest.

Sandman is a shame. He’d literally only come back into the Meta due to surfer and bounce decks. It’s a bit strange to nerf him so quick considering how slow they act with other cards.

Interest to see how this shifts the meta, because it’s a big shift. So many decks use Zabu or Alioth.

zabu... i spend a lot of time making decks, it's my favourite part of these games, and often i put zabu in first and then go from there. but i'm still kinda glad he's getting a change.

I'm old enough to remember original Zabu being the best card in the game. He had a good run.

In other news, I have never played destroy, but have put together a deck with Deathstrike and it’s performing very well. Taking out the Iron Man in a Tribunal Deck on the last turn has been a highlight.

The Eternals cards look kind of cool, but lots of additional energy and power to be had. Expect some of those are getting nerfed before release.

The spotlight caches are back, and now I'm not sure about pulling the trigger on Jeff. I think I need to, but the thought of using four keys just to get him is still causing me to hesitate.

Yeah... Mirage is good as part of a Zemo, Loki or Collector deck, but not essential.

US Agent seems okay at best.

Jeff is amazing but 4 keys is rough. Good token target though.

I did wonder if I need to be using tokens on him instead. US Agent reviews aren't great, Mirage is series 4 and replaceable as you say. Contrast that to the Nico week where White Widow looks alright and Snowguard is better in Loki decks than Mirage, and that's the sort of week where I'd be potentially using all four keys to get her.
