I was a dick, and I can admit that. I played into your game and let you get to me, and I'm sure outside factors didn't help at all.

I still need to be away for a long while while I get things sorted. If I do come back and things can be patched, great. If not, then it's fine.

- I'm apparently the one that first proposed Night 0 Confusion -> Day 1 Guardian -> Night 1 Confusion on Sunday night. Please continue to direct all complaints towards Cole though, I'm a figment of your imagination.

- We had originally planned/voted to kill Ryan on Night 0 first. That would have been interesting... and maybe saved some feelings. We only changed to shortkut after getting the result of the Wolf Seer usage.

I think we kill Ryan straight away. He's got a big brain, and is a master of psychology, we can just nail him, and I'll play the [REDACTED] card.

Even though I hated it for obvious reasons, I'd never complain because it made for such a good game. That whole second day I was convinced we were doomed. "We have no idea which roles are left! Everybody is claiming seer, so now we can't trust any of their info! The sorcerer is indistinguishable from a seer! There could be a second confusion wolf!" It was a blast.

No, Zell was being a little cagey. I could surmise that Holly was dead if I was being asked for a "funsies" vote, but didn't actually know why or when or who else. During my lunch break I stuck to the plan - voted for you and kept skip in place.

When I got home some 4 1/2 hours later, the night phase was still in effect and the thread was not posted. The following was sent:

He wink-wink-nudge-nudge role claimed Werewolf Fan on Day 1. That was the entire basis for my "Seer" check on him, and I brought along Ants because he somewhat more concretely claimed a Random Villager. Effectively, I wanted to prevent the town from lynching the Fan and a good candidate for Solo Killer.

When Benzine blew Raposa's cover, I then assumed Raposa was the Solo Killer. And when the results came in and he was revealed, I was shocked - but also, obviously, that meant Vash was left.

You don't have to answer if you don't want to give away your strategy. I'm just curious.

Whether I'm for or against the town, I'm going to play the same way. The way I see it, if answering questions gives people insight into how I play that can only broaden their horizons and make us all better players. So, ask away.

End of the day, all of the wolves wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. Winning is nice, but it's not the goal.

I wasn't lying about Holly, she did imprison me and Alu. I couldn't (originally) speak with TD as a result, so I was functionally operating entirely blind.

Which is fitting if the town just went up in flames.

I'll corroborate that. I like to imagine that the jailhouse was set on flame and you crawled out of the wreckage to safety.
But Vash burned up my mac n cheese. That is unforgiveable. I'm voting Vash next game I'm in with him for that reason.

@Warp good read. I was surprised when Raposa turned out to be the fan, too! I did not see that coming.

I'm reading the Dead Chat and seeing shortkut be blissfully unaware that I had also blatantly claimed Spirit Seer. lol

So just to add some more interesting turn of events out there.

My initial idea was for us to kill Holly if one of us had been imprisoned, which Warp was.
Warp suggested Holly would be protected by Kat, so we switched to Kat.
The arsonist struck and Warp switched to Hero.
So in a weird round about way, Warp would've first been responsible for Kat's death, but then when the arsonist struck and switched to Hero, was responsible for saving Kat (alongside the Arsonist).

If I had killed Holly and the Arsonist didn't strike, all 3 of us would've been alive with no threat of the mysterious weapon and I would've had to try to talk myself out of a red read and maybe an evil read depending on what Hero did.

Also, without us targeting canadaguy, Benzine doesn't have a legit claim and Raposa may live Day 2.

The trickle down effects of decisions fascinate me.

I honestly can't believe the false Werewolf Fan claim was as effective as it was. I figured I could use my old strategy of "subtly" making a role claim as an advantage and lay hints for multiple roles to give myself options later on if needed, so I tried to lay breadcrumbs towards Fan, Marksman, and Avenger.

I  immediately regretted trying it, then tried to wiggle out from Fan and Avenger, going so far as to issuing a press release disavowing any attempt to claiming Werewolf Fan, hoping the fact that I had already posted about wanting to be a wolf outside of the game would help erase this strategy. Then later, when in a bind, I dug that press release back up and used it to wiggle out from under Kat's suspicions. That was totally serendipitous.

For the record, my night action was to check @VashTheStampede. I knew I was killed (@Warp ) because Zell never replied.

Just the overwhelming # of random roles. I believed Alu , Benzine, obviously myself, and shortkut, so every other role claim was suspected. Ants, you TD, Warp, Vash.

Warp was claiming a seer type, so I thought ants, you and Vash were more likely RK. Just picked one.
