Hey, I'm sorry for how I was towards you. I should've cut you some slack since it was your first game. You did good considering the sheer amount of craziness and confusion and how convincing Cole can be.
Cole can be incredibly convincing. So can Vash and shortkut. I've played wolf and mafia back in the day, but it's intimidating playing with such good players.

That being said, I still think this game is a blast and I hope they don't drop out. They help keep it interesting without a doubt.

I think one of the key things to keep in mind in this game is that it IS a game and to keep separate your opinion of the players within and without the game. If you let what happens in the game affect your opinions outside of the game it never goes well. And it's totally pointless, you only rile yourself up for no benefit.

Since we still don't have access to the dead thread, I want to point out that I did not Seer Cole with the hope he would be bad and I could stick it to him for revenge. Cole mentioned that he could win as a wolf under the previous conditions. I felt that it was a requirement to Seer him for gameplay reasons. Cole is a strong player and it makes total sense to see who's side he's on if you can.

Hi Kat, I'm so sorry for letting you to believe I'm in any way salty* towards your play, I was (lovingly) making fun of Fool here.

I was so convinced you were part of his master plan and he was trying to do something completely unexpected. In hindsight, obviously I know this was a mistake

I feel I'd be too concerned with him actually getting lynched if I was a fellow wolf. Just as he is a powerful enemy, he is also an extremely valuable ally.

No, I’m referring to Ryan. Total man-baby.
1) Kindly fuck off
2) I admit, I let myself get salty and get tilted. It's been an extremely stressful couple of days involving arguments about where I'm setting up a home office on top of having to shift everything over. Cole deciding his strategy was going to be to be a complete and utter dick didn't help.

I'm still honestly done with these games. And likely done with here for a good while. Think what you will, I honestly couldn't care at this point.

Irrespective of point two, giving someone a diagnosis over the internet because of a game of Wolf is so poor.

This all makes perfect sense. IMO the only suspicious thing was how you presented the information, and I found your explanation ("Cole is somehow going to discredit me and get out of this so I'll give him the least ammo possible") convincing.

Oh I know, and I didn't ever get the impression you were salty. I was just replying to a random post of yours to tag you lazily.

Let's be real, nothing is out of the question when it comes to Cole. That's what makes him fun to play with.

I just need to get better. I knew Cole would try to curbstomp me, but I need to do better at convincing the villagers that I'm on their side.

And some people suggested there's no way Cole would make this entire plan reliant on FR. And I was like yeah he wouldn't and that's exactly why he would!

I really liked the Warden role. It could be quite powerful in the hands of someone competently skilled. The first night I jailed Cole and FR because it was pretty clear he was a wolf and the lynch was going to fail. I didn't expect the MM to beat me to it, or to be able to shoot a jailed player.

The second night I jailed Alu and Warp. Both were suspicious, and I had hoped that jailing them would prevent their night action. I very nearly jailed Benzine and Warp but changed at the last minute. I did not drop a weapon because I was busy irl all day yesterday and forgot to drop it. But I don't think that would have made a difference in what happened, although if I had survived and one of them claimed they saw the weapon it would have confirmed they weren't a townie. It's probably most strategic to not always drop the weapon.

YOU fuck off. You’re a psychiatrist who armchair-diagnoses people online to cyberbully them after losing a game. You’re unprofessional and I hope for all your future patients sake you lose your license.
We’re trying to dial back the animosity. Cole doesn’t need anyone to defend him

I agree that the Warden has the potential to be super powerful. I'm assuming there's some sort of algorithm in place to ensure neither side gets too imbalanced?

I think the Ritualist-style classes with the ability to speak to the Dead are the absolute coolest classes and I hope to get to pilot one at some point.

IMO the trick is to not try to be convincing. Look at Alu: he simply hinted at the info he had then spelled it out when we were being dense. When I pointed out he could be a sorcerer with that info, he didn't even acknowledge it and the accusation never gained steam.

Same with Vash. We guessed his role as RK and started voting for him, and his response was only "dummies I clarified I wasn't trying to say I was the wolf fan and I only meant I was drunk last night." And because he was so chill about it we all went along with it. I felt a little silly about accusing him, even though his statement was essentially, "I totally wasn't high on gasoline fumes, honest!"

People follow confidence. That's the trick. Act like it's obvious you're innocent and honest and it's foolish to believe otherwise, and most people will believe it.

Yeah, I saw every single one of those posts where even the slightest amount of suspicion on me came up. Never once bothered to mention or quote any of them.
