2) I admit, I let myself get salty and get tilted. It's been an extremely stressful couple of days involving arguments about where I'm setting up a home office on top of having to shift everything over. Cole deciding his strategy was going to be to be a complete and utter dick didn't help.

I'm still honestly done with these games. And likely done with here for a good while. Think what you will, I honestly couldn't care at this point.

I laid out the plan, and they decided not to go with it. Morons. Deserve to lose at this point.

If FR was in jail with Cole, Cole couldn't have been killed by the Marksman. I wonder who is gonna be smart enough to see this. Kat, who isn't an idiot, just brushed it off and is focusing on the Guardian Wolf thing.

Good thing you have Kat around to hold FR's hand, Cole.

So Cole is a Wolf. FR is a Wolf. I really think Kat is a Wolf. I'm not sold on Local at all and think he might be a Wolf.

I checked Ants and he was good, but that doesn't mean much since two Wolf roles in the game register good, and he was shady as hell.

The Vienna Gambit is a chess opening. It goes 1) E4 E5 2) NC3 NF6 3) F4.

The idea is that you are offering a pawn sacrifice early in order to not just give yourself a dominant middle, but also to create several traps that black has a difficult time dealing with.

And then Kat killed me and ruined it. Because she had a "feeling"

Also, if FR isn't a Wolf, then man, he's not good at this.

Honestly was kinda hoping they just lynched me and it made everything clear. Sure, Wolves could have burned their Guardian Wolf ability on me to create chaos, which is something Cole would absolutely do, but then that ability is gone and it just delays everything by a day. I'm still outed as Aura Seer and they can see who is lying.

Cole can be incredibly convincing. So can Vash and shortkut. I've played wolf and mafia back in the day, but it's intimidating playing with such good players.

That being said, I still think this game is a blast and I hope they don't drop out. They help keep it interesting without a doubt.

I think one of the key things to keep in mind in this game is that it IS a game and to keep separate your opinion of the players within and without the game. If you let what happens in the game affect your opinions outside of the game it never goes well. And it's totally pointless, you only rile yourself up for no benefit.

The second night I jailed Alu and Warp. Both were suspicious, and I had hoped that jailing them would prevent their night action.

I think this would've worked brilliantly if the arsonist hadn't killed you. I wonder if Alu could've ditched his sorcerer power while in jail and become a wolf and broken out to kill you, though. Still, that would've been very useful info.

How would you have played WWfan BTW? I more or less flipped a coin on what role to claim, it was between bodyguard to attempt to discredit the real bg as much as possible or red lady to fly as much under the town's radar as possible but leave the wolves an obvious role to take out.

IMO the trick is to not try to be convincing. Look at Alu: he simply hinted at the info he had then spelled it out when we were being dense. When I pointed out he could be a sorcerer with that info, he didn't even acknowledge it and the accusation never gained steam.

this is 100% the trick. you either have to hint, or you have to lay it out. in the first game I laid it out. in the second game I hinted and people missed it until it was too late. this game I had to lead with the defensive and had no time to do anything IN the game.

I don't know. I was under the impression you knew who we were, but I've since been told you didn't.

Ironically, early on I thought Ryan was the fan because I thought he knew who we were and I thought he was trying to drop hints to get eaten.

without knowing the wolves: I think I probably would have figured out the role that the wolves would most need gone (probably warden) and immediately started hinting (or even saying) that was me. I'd try to feed into all of the wrong narratives that other people had to give the wolves an idea that I was on their side and try to get bit.

This is basically how I decided to play it, just without knowing the wolves. I figured I didn't need to get bit to hopefully figure out the wolves and start putting my thumb on the scale during votes. Unfortunately I wasn't confident enough in my play so I got lynched immediately by everyone lol, but who knows how things would have gone if @Ants! Finally Good in honor of this game. Had checked my role night one instead of how he ended up going.

the town is going to kill other town people, that's how it works. Its ridiculous to think its a bad play because it resulted in a town death. The whole point is that the town is flying blind. When someone makes themselves too suspicious, it falls back on them. Its a delicate balance, some people can make it work and some cant.
