...then snorts. The plungers descend into the floor as the room resets. Yellow was the detonator. Let's all hope the RNG gods choose a more appealing color next time.

But I want to do some testing and see if I can easily convert either of these 2v2v2v2 games into a 4v4 for the true Mario Party experience. Current teams are, oddly enough, shaking out to look like the rich vs. the poors, but we'll see if I have to break it down to a partners game.

How to Play:
All players will roll a D4, trying to match the same number with their teammates. If any two players on a team roll the same number, a character will be summoned from the pipe, and your team will receive points based on the number/character you rolled. Point values are as follows:

4 on the die =

Toad = 3 points
3 on the die =

Koopa Troopa = 2 points
2 on the die =

Goomba = 1 point
1 on the die =

Baby Bowser = -1 point

If more than two teammates roll the same number, points will be awarded for each instance of a match. For example, if all four players on the team roll 1s, the team will lose six points rather than just one. Your total points cannot drop below zero. The team with the most points at the end wins.

Bit of a confusing point to join in, because for this turn you are afflicted with Bowser's Reverse Curse. You can only move backwards, so once you roll you'll have to decide whether to go west, or south around the loop. However, if you run into a junction you can choose any direction other than the one you are coming from. For example, if you head west, you'll have the option to turn and go south, or continue straight toward Boo. If you head south and roll high enough, you could loop back around toward Goomba, or head east in the normal direction.

You also have a Bowser Suit you can use if you wish, but it won't affect anyone on the same space as you. Goomba and Boo are fair game. Full item descriptions are in the original game post.
