Bit of a late start for my morning today, but still not really enough to lay out more thoughts. Also not entirely sure I care enough to since, typically, getting too wordy
(we'll see about that...) just serves to waste everyone's time.
Strictly from a gameplay perspective with this exact Dictionary availability, written as-is, in combination with this specific community at GWF
I'm not remotely interested in taking shots at anyone. I'm not interested in devaluing or overvaluing the work of others. This has nothing to do with
this game, nor any previous game, but as a
general sentiment. Please do not get upset, I am not calling you out in any way.
1) It is established fact that the wolves very nearly can't win under normal circumstances. As a united front of four. To have to consider that someone in their "informed minority" chat is working against them, then, somehow makes it worse. And not even working against them, actively relaying 100% of their thoughts, strategies and actions - to say nothing of just blatantly sharing their identities - to another team playing against them.
2) Any and all problems with regards to game balance are made worse when the game doesn't start with the "balanced around" magical number of 16. Starting the town down 2 isn't necessarily bad.
However. Starting them down
3, the wolves down
2, and creating a superinformed functional majority is just bad design. Sorry.
With the above considerations in mind: I don't want to contribute to wasting the time of members of this community, friends or acquaintances. There was no point having a wolf team this game except to hide the fact that there was a second wolf team. That's straight-up disrespectful to Kat and Tommy, and doubly so for Jumpy who's still very new to this game with us.
So. TL;DR
- If there aren't 15 players, I'm not signing up.
- If the Solo Voter and Solo Killer aren't publicly stated (or the concepts of Cupid and Instigator reimagined), I'm not signing up.
- I've long since actually given up, but the Blind Wolf fucking suuucks. Don't @ me.
