I have said for years Chase is the best WR in the league. People laughed at me because of Jefferson. But there is no receiver that can beat doubles like Chase. Or is a threat to take it to the house from legit anywhere on the field.

Cleveland went and immediately traded Horwitz to the Pirates for 3 pitchers, which is really what Cleveland actually needed. They'll likely bring someone up from the minors to play 2B. Bazanna is still a ways away.

People spend actual time defending the move thinking a mediocre bat with shit defensive production and no baserunning skills was going to be a suitable replacement for Gimenez.

Red sox are probably gonna give him an extension too. part of the reason why Crochet wasn't traded at the deadline is that he said he wouldn't pitch in the playoffs unless he got an extension so teams backed off. so the fact that the Red Sox traded for him makes me think an extension is gonna come eventually

Cleveland needs pitchers and there are a bunch of middle infield players in the minors waiting their turn. I'm just glad we actually got something we needed in replacement instead of Horwitz, which I felt would have been a net downgrade.

If he sucks, so many people are going to abandon ship.
