He's focusing on bringing in players who play that physical, gritty game, and that I don't have an issue with. The issue is when he's bringing in people who are just not good hockey players, or those who are past their prime (poor Klinger).

We've got a solid core, but the supporting cast is what needs work. Will say that Robertson, Holmberg, & McMann are welcome additions to the team. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind replacing Kämpf, Gregor, and Reaves.

NCAA hockey tournament will kick off at the end of the month! Get to watching that if you want to see who some of the late additions to rosters will be for the playoffs.

A couple years ago Makar was added right of the UMass roster when we lost the championship that year, scored a goal in his first game and obviously has made a major impact since then.

Looking at the standings, all I can say is that Toronto is in for a tough first round battle. The way things are playing out, we're getting Florida or Boston.

The NHL definitely needs to do something before he becomes too much of a problem. Before someone gets seriously hurt.

As much as I shouldn't, I find it refreshing to see a big bruiser out there. Hockey used to be that, and I know it's better to not be - and the game is so skilled and fast now, but its a throwback to see these players hitting hard and fighting. Trouba was the hard hitter for a while, and now Rempe is doing it. If it's done right, it's like old-time hockey. For the players' sakes it can't be that every game, but it's fun to see the hard hits and line brawls sometimes.

Though last night was not a good example of it. Headshots are dirty and shouldn't happen.
