So, at the beginning of this week, the St Louis area was hit with early 48 hours of non-stop rain. Yesterday, I found out that some of the homes in my neighborhood encountered flooding in their basement.
Mine did not. As shit as this week has kinda been, it could have been so much worse. I don't know how I dodged the flooding, but I'm not going to go asking questions. When I had my home inspected back in 2021, they said my drainage was as perfect as it could be, so I'm guessing that has something to do with it. Also, there's a French drainage system on the eastern part of my home that might have something to do with it.

Doing pretty well, finally have a good routine and balance with my son's medication, also taking some magnesium has helped with better sleep. End of the semester, exams are next week so I've had more time to get to the gym and man do I feel so much better for it!
That's awesome, I'm glad you're doing better yourself and that your son's doing better, as well! Hopefully that carries on moving forward ❤️

You don't think people would leave you be? I mean, personally, I don't care what people want to be.
It's not even about that, it's the policies and laws being passed that are making it impossible to even exist in states like Texas or Florida. I know that I'd be fine in Texas with the everyday person, because they don't care. There are karens and assholes around every corner in any state, but the politics in states like Texas are stripping away the rights of trans people to dehumanizing degrees and it just wouldn't be possible to exist there.

Very much the same, I'm certainly no one to judge! I didn't ask to be trans, but I know that a lot of people don't understand what trans is, so I keep myself to myself as much as possible and try to live my life, but...I'd be lying if I said I didn't stick out like a sore thumb because of who and what I am. That said, it's not like I'm out there advertising it, either. I'm just...me. I see it as the same for everyone else, so the only people I truly dislike are those who actively choose to hate those they don't understand. Ignorance is one thing, hatred is another.

I mostly just mind my business and ask others do the same. I try to avoid telling people how to live their lives.
That's the way to be. As long as no one's doing any harm, and as long as they're not an absolute jackass, then that's all that matters. Way too many ignorant & hateful assholes in the world, and that's why it's so messed up right now.
