That came to me as the Red Lady talk was going on last game too.

Between that game and this one, I'm coming up with a lot more strategies and thoughts I'd do.

One last thing Raine could try and I didn't even think of this until Fool's opened the door. Fool's told the town that if she was Avenger, and he concussed her, her tag is only good if she picked it before he rocked her.

Why not just say "Oh by the way I have XXXX tagged and can't change it since I'm concussed."? Might sway a vote from a villager who doesnt want to die.

We were one Jawneh action away from clinching at night, which should have been our clue to remember the Cupid. Had we killed cole, vash and Christina wouldn’t have the voting block and they would have had to decide which of them got to win. Probably the wolves if there was no path to victory as Cupid couple. Instead we went for Ben who was protected and you know what happened next
I agreed to the Ben kill because the other name was Cole and I as the cupid thing we had to have that vote. If you would have killed Cole I think that would have flipped me to focusing on the wolf victory more because my cupid victory was dead. I even tried to throw Jawneh's name out there but it was quickly shit down.

I really think with the cupid, keeping cupid alive is a big advantage. Having that voting block at the end.

Back when there were online "ranked" games in this format with really good players, people who claimed cupid would get lynched by the village if they didn't immediately have a wolf. Multiple reasons: One, as you said Cupid late game can be powerful. Two, a coupled wolf can easily claim Cupid since they know the real Cupid would never dispute it and lose their couple.

Honestly in the beginning I was like "Cupid role is not a threat", to "Christina is really nice, even if she pulls it off I wouldn't be upset", to "If I was a wolf alive I would've went hard at Vash and left the rest up to fate".

I was so ready to jump into being a wolf, but that cupid thing really changed things. Vash was not kidding about my note taking. I had to have lists and number and stuff trying to keep it all organized. The moment the Cupid thing fell through I was going full wolf again. Same with Vash, he was trying to make sure if the cupid failed the town one. That cupid stuff really make it a game of betrayal musical chairs.

How would Medium work with Illusionist? Is it like trickster where they can't be revived?

Interestingly enough… there’s an add-on that could be VERY useful for these games.

Could swap medium for ritualist. Ritualist can revive no matter whether the role is masked or not. But they have to pick before the person is killed. And they can revive wolves, too.
Both sound cool. Objectively, which do you feel is more powerful - Medium? Maybe judge based on how the town/wolves do this game?

Medium definitely. Then ritualist and then conjuror. Conjuror is cool and all and it’s the most powerful role in THIS game but nothing compares to being able to bring somebody back.
Yeah that's what I figured. Ritualist seemed like the middle ground to me too.

Does that mean a Ritualist could accidentally ressurect a wolf?

The illusionist is close to what I wanted to do with the trickster role. It could also be helping the wolves by giving them disguises. Slows the seer role down. The illusionist is hidden completely from the seer that sees if you killed at night. But that seer could still find the wolves. This is another one that can change the tone of the game kind of like cupid did. It's like it makes the game more like the movie The Thing.

As soon as I read the description of Illusionist I became obsessed with the inevitable chaos.
I think I said to Matt if the random killer is the illusionist we are fucked. The moment the illusionist gets pinned down for a lynch they are going to take people with them because they can day kill. Or maybe they are just trying to make it look like that was them. Then they show up again if they managed to get you to think they killed you. Again. Movie The Thing. Dead chat would be fun. I think you need some shooter roles or jailer maybe to really be able to take them down without too much collateral damage.
