I was planning on claiming Doctor early in Day 2 in that game. Then life happened, I got outed by the Bell Ringer and had like 7 votes on me by the time I came back.

This is exactly what I planned on doing if I'm a wolf again. I'm honestly not a fan of role claims but I think that's because I was used to more traditional wolf. I'm still not a fan persay but it's needed in this.

If you weren't Cupid'd, I wondered if sacrificing you as the Trickster Wolf would've been an interesting play.

Town thinks there's still 4 wolves and gives the 3 remaining more lies to hide in.

Really two shadows should be way too OP for evils, especially with the Instigator in play. The village has one person who can kill (the Bully), and that's only one kill every OTHER day. So lynches are the only way this village has to try and catch up to the baddies. Two shadows should theoretically end the game almost, the game starts with 3 wolves, 3 instigator team, and 10 full villagers.

After night 1, it's 9 villagers. Two successful shadows (where insti team and wolves SHOULD vote together, but they wont) and two night kills makes it 5 villagers 3 wolves and 3 insti without the village having made a single mistake.

One thing I have thought about is giving frequent players a "token" or something they can use for any game to choose their role.

I mean in the sign up thread having the list of roles that'll be in the game. That way if someone does/doesn't want to play in a game with a certain role they can choose.

For example if I saw guaranteed Illusionist? I'm in - even if it's only a 1/16 chance I get it.

If I did this I'd probably give options, I don't want people to leave cause it's a shitty role list you know?
