Sacrificing the trickster to trick the town into thinking someone was tricksters, meaning kill trickster wolf without using ability. It shows the town one of the wolf roles instead of leaving them guessing what the role is. “Do we protect this person? But if they berserk we lose two people!” So doing that would reduce your wolf numbers unnecessarily and remove some hesitation the town may have when using their roles

Also, it's mean.

If you are gonna sacrifice the trickster wolf, the better way to do it just by having them come out hard selling a villager as evil.

"TD is EVIL, I'm Aura seer". If TD gets killed, you trick them. If you get killed, you achieved your "sacrifice" and the entire time the village in the back of their head will think "Hey, maybe they really were aura seer and TD WAS Evil".

This elaborates a lot more on what I was trying to get at thank you.

I didn't really fully flush out the idea when I said it.

This is also a fancy way of saying we made a mistake taking out the aura seer and using the trickster on him.

I had a whole story about how I was hiding until after the shadow because I didn't want to be a shadow target. Plus the people I seered had come up unknown which could have been the killer. I am still a little salty about not being able try and pull that off.

I've learned to never plan too far ahead in these games, because then you just get disappointed that you didn't get to execute our big plan.

We wanted that shadow gone so bad. Also people have this driving need to use their abilities and as quickly as they have an excuse too.
Oh I think using the shadow was the right idea. In retrospect though I've come to the conclusion that kill roles are the biggest wolf threat and Jawneh should've been the target.

We didn’t know Jawneh’s role at the time

Oh and also we messed up with the Flower Child. But, I also thought they stopped ANY lynch.
We wanted the FC gone so we could get our shadow kill. We expected the FC to protect our shadow target and then we waste it

But he was the only 100% verified townie and he hinted like 30 times in Day 1 that he could kill.
We wanted the FC gone so we could get our shadow kill. We expected the FC to protect our shadow target and then we waste it
But the FC would've had to guess who we were going after which at that point is a 1 in 13 chance.

My biggest takeaway from that game was to slow down, think it through, and read the roles way more carefully.

Another wiff was Alu thinking he had unlimited uses.

In hindsight as a group, we made mistakes.

The wolves could be running a plan where they seered Raine, saw avenger, know Ben is bad, and so wolf Vash lies to get us to do this, and Ben is bad so they can actually kill 2 when they'd usually kill 0 on day 1. But then Vash is outed as a wolf and it's a snowball from there, I think.
See - there's no way this is what actually happened but I so wish plays like this WOULD happen.

That was indeed another mistake.

Which leads me to my own takeaway again, slow down and think/talk it through.

I feel like we were so close to the first Zell Wolf win.
We were one Jawneh action away from clinching at night, which should have been our clue to remember the Cupid. Had we killed cole, vash and Christina wouldn’t have the voting block and they would have had to decide which of them got to win. Probably the wolves if there was no path to victory as Cupid couple. Instead we went for Ben who was protected and you know what happened next

Yeah - I don't know about you but I think I got tunnel vision just trying to go for the win.

HOW is nobody picking up on FR!?

This is what leaves me convinced that most don't read the Dictionary.

I’ve learned more about this game from your shitposting this game than I have just wandering around the last several threads and observing multiple people’s plays.

Bully
Aura: Unknown
During the day, can hit a player with a rock and give them a concussion. Selection of a player to concuss is made via daytime PM. A player who is concussed will not be able to use any abilities during that day or the subsequent night. If the shadow wolf is in effect, a concussed player cannot vote. If a player is hit with a rock a second time, they will be killed. If the bully kills a player, the bully's role will be revealed to the entire village. The bully can only shoot a rock once per day. The bully gets 4 rocks in total.

Then it’s clear FR used bully ability on raine this morning and the town is stupid for not figuring it out

If let's say hypothetically someone like Vash or Kelly were the Instigator and the Doctor was the townie recruit, you'd effectively be invincible because "nobody lies" and the town wouldn't lynch you, as long as you keep feeding wolves and then misdirect from the one wolf that's with the Instigator.
