So is the image stuff really worth it to you guys? I went kinda heavy on it trying to give you each some character visualization, but it's honestly the bulk of the reason it's taken me so long to get responses back. Trying to get something that works and doesn't look super dumb is tricky.

Maybe after this battle, I step off the "images every single turn" thing.

I like how immersive it makes it feel, but if it's taking you a long time, I say don't overstress yourself. You're doing amazing and this is fun as hell, so I don't want you to burn yourself out making custom images for every turn.

I think I just need to find a balance.

My hope is to be able to go back through everything after we're done, and strip out the OOC stuff and put it into a readable book-like form. It'd help to have illustrations for it, but I guess even then it doesn't have to be a full-ass graphic novel.

The illustrations have been fantastic so far, but I agree that they might not always be necessary. I worry that you might be taking on too much if your plan is to eventually make it into a graphic novel.
