Stupendous job druid! Nothing like getting your hands dirty instead of always slinging magicks. Though... I'd work on your ABCD's. So Accuracy, Balance, Coordination, and Dexterity. Though, I can't argue results!

Aims looks down at the pummeled and nearly dead drake, gives in a devilish grin. It's time to murder this drake. He starts to swing his ax in his hands nimbly like master rogue toying with a dagger. While skillfully switching his swings from hand to hand, above his head and even behind his back, Aims takes a good few steps back while doing it. Finally, giving the drake a final death stare, he throws the spinning ax up in the air, slowly arcing towards the poor prone drake, takes a quick step and jumps up in the air, catching the ax by the handle and brings it crashing down, to split both the drakes whole being as well as the ground beneath it.

You leave Fume Drake B as two smokey halves floating slowly towards the ground

You deal 11 points of damage to Fume Drake B. It is defeated. |

((I don't need to ask you if you wanted to finish it, you did a mighty good job already!))

Moonsprout searches the area for phat loot.

Moonsprout also cocks an ear and scans the caves, searching for some sign of further danger

| You peer around the area looking for goods you can swipe. The Fume Drakes have nothing you can particularly see to harvest, and the purple crystals are too hard to chip any away.

You do notice, as you try to pry a piece of crystal off of a large structure, that the fog is coming from below the ground here. It seeps up through cracks around the glassy violet daggers, the cloying scent of brimstone continuing to assault your nostrils, and judging by the amount of it there must be a source somewhere deep underground. |

Nac goes to look at the crystal to see if he can see something weird about it
((I guess I may as well get in on it))

Short Order investigates the cave for loot and then the crystal for general fuckery.

| You both approach the orange crystal.

Now that you stand closer, you can see the source of the issue the myconids face. This crystal is wedged into the wall of the cave in a fissure about 5 feet wide. This fissure carves a fairly large channel through to the outside cliff face, through which sunlight creeps into the cave. Where the sunlight hits the crystal, it bounces in a thousand different directions, sending beams throughout the cave. The myconids would not normally want to come to this cave anyway, but this does not help.

Furthermore, this out of place orange crystal is blocking what airflow would normally vent these noxious fumes out of the cave system, and make it less pervasive. What suction would normally be generated by the wind moving against the face of the cliff outside is negated and now only a whistle makes it to you.

You cannot tell what kind of crystal this is. It does not appear to be a regular gemstone, and it is unique among the other purple crystals in the cave. Almost like it didn't come from this place. |

Zesty ponders the orange crystal for a moment and understands it needs to be removed for the safety of the myconids.

Aims, perhaps you should use your strength to rip this crystal from the wall?

Guys all this singing and dodging mist dragons has got me pooped. I just wanna lay down and rest. Can we align our chis with those crystals later, or something?
This might be a good idea if we can find a space where we know we won't be ambushed

((Moonsprout could likely be killed with a single hit thanks to low starting HP, and I know that I'm down at least one spell slot right now))

Zesty Zapcrackle

Diplomatic Immunity
If i rip it out, we could bring it with us. You could maybe even chip a piece off and find an artisant to carve you a nice new pipe! Maybe even the firsr ever orange crystal pipe in Faerun!
I say we try to pull it out first before breaking it open. I fear there may be more to this crystal if we crack it open. I couldn't identify magics or whether this is bearing a wall in this cave. We could create a cave in if we break it. Perhaps try to remove it whole first so we can identify it better. Failing that, we clobber the crap out of it.

Aims walks over to the crystal to size it up and to see if there's good spots to grip it more easily. After finding some decent spots on both sides of it, he spits in both his hands and rubs them together.

Now lets get this on! I mean out. Lets get this OUT!

Aims grabs the crystal and starts pulling it out.

| The crystal is warm to the touch, but it does not budge.|

((I think the bigger concern would be @Smacktard 's character can die in a single hit from most people more easily at 6HP than he could at 8, though both aren't crazy. Additionally, I only have 1 spell slot right now and it would be great to be able to attack with it...while also potentially having a heal available if we hit a big boss))

((Agreed. Was only saying I'm fine with either option. :) ))

((So, what you guys doing...? 'cause it's still not moving if you try to move it.

Also, someone give me an Arcana check.))
((I'll crit a str check to pull it out! Don't make me do it lol.

Okay fine...))

Aims kicks up some dust and crosses his arms at the stupid crystal. How can such a feeble looking crystal not budge at all when using guns like Aims'? Even Mai'cokk is looking at him while still shaking and hiding from the beams of light and everything.

I don't get it! Why?! I should just be able to grab it! IT LOOKS perfectly grabable! Clearly someone put it there. Bah. This is why all magic things are stupid. Just use MUSCLES to do things and also to UNDO them. It'd be much easier to live in this world.

Even so, Aims is curious about the crystal and does go take a much closer look at it.

Geez, would you chill out already, mean green? Read the room, we're all totally tuckered. Let's rest now; we can deal with that crystal later.

Besides, I already know what it is. It's...

With the shouting and crystal pulling, I need a drink... does anyone have anything alcoholic?
We had this monk at the monastery, Master Hi'pay, always talking abou' crystals.. actually reminds me a bit o' ye Moonsprout...

Nac looks at the crystal to see if he can remember something of what the old monk talked about
