Cubes are meaningless. You are locked at over 100. You only play other infinite players.

Used to be that you could match up against players lower on the ladder and just spew free cubes to them but they changed that a few seasons ago.

Also so when the new season starts you get reset to 30 levels below whichever tier you reached. So you will start the next season at 70 (I think technically 73 since they boost you three at the start of each tier)

Now I have access to that token store. What should my strategy be there? I may have already used all my tokens buying Spider-ham... Because obviously it's Spider-ham.

Shang-Chi and Killmonger are so strong. Tech cards do not have this kind of impact in Hearthstone. Deck building in this is the opposite of HS... In HS you put your winning package in, and then maybe some tech cards around it. In MS, you put your tech cards in and then fit the remaining slot with the most valuable package.

Generally the "optimal" token spend was to only use them on the "big bads" who are seemingly permanent series 5. I think thanos, galactus, high evo and Kang are the ones now.

The spotlight caches now make it easier to get series 5 cards so you could also save those until there is one you want to target. There's a whole discussion on optimizing those.

Id say though if you see a card you want to have and have the tokens, go for it. The games meant to be fun at the end of the day

I literally got venom only a few hours ago. I’ve not found a way to reliably get Deadpool to high power, so I took him out of my deck. Were you only able to get him that high due to the locations?

Voromir on turn 1 and having limbo helped. So yeah I'd say in this case locations made a big difference. I think I killed him in turn 1, 3, 4 and 6 to get to 16. The 32 power one was doubled by shuri on turn 7.

although I almost botched it because I thought doc oc pulled from played cards, not the deck. I must've misread it. so j almost botched it my damn self.

Now that I'm in pool three every other person is playing Thanos. I'm not sure it's that good or if these guys are bad at playing, or if Killmonger and Shang-Chi (plus good guessing I suppose) are just too strong. I have Thanos offered in my next spotlight cache, but I'm not going to be able to get leveled up in that amount of time I don't think .



The spotlight cache I got before this had Master Mold, but I don't have the cards to go alongside it yet. I've had them played against me a few times already with Ronan, but it just seems like a worse DD to me.

You'll need to collect all series three at some point. Avenger can't say what would better seeing as how he doesn't know how many series 3 you are missing. Avenger doesn't use maximum in any of his decks. But again, you'll need to collect them all at some point anyway and since the season is ending might as well pick him up

It's not bad. I like magik just to set up more shenanigans for Zola. Zola on Knull makes some big numbers. I think wave is probably there for a similar reason to?



Here's what I've been running. If I get venom shuri and Nimrod in hand early, I'm snapping.

Had someone shang chi my nimrod after he was doubled by shuri and I was like umm thanks

Yeah it's a free card so take something there, don't let it roll over without taking advantage. You will also get to pick a new one in next season too.

I'd take him over atuma in a heart beat.

Super fun combo is T4 shuri T5 nimrod T6 venom and carnage in a separate lane to kill one of the nimrod copies it's nimrods all over the place

I ran a deck built around that which I called FIRE EVERYTHING cause of all the Nimrods blowing up and bouncing all over the fuckin place

Zola on nimrod is also great you get the nimrods from him being destroyed and nimrods from Zola too. Risky if you do the shuri nimrod route though since Zola may hit her.

You can make entire decks with him. Turn a card like Zola or knull from a 6/0 to a 0/6. I’ve only had moderate success with him as I couldn’t get him out until too late most games and just stopped with him

Avenger has a few spotlight caches, he may go for the X-23 week because he doesn't have any of those cards. And maybe burn one for lady deathstrike, even though that's bad odds to waste a cache on. It depends on how many Avenger can rack up.

I think Lady Deathstrike is gonna lead to some FUN decks (Shuri/Arnim Zola would rock) but I don't want the other two variants.

Might try to finally get Galactus (and the Nimrod variant is sick) then save up for the 3rd week cause I don't have Silk and I love that Nebby variant.

Looking at that reminds me of the Galactus change I wish they would have made.

I think galactus should destroy the location he's played on, not the two that he's not. I think thematically it matches his character more, and still makes the remaining game playable for either player to win.
