Hmm yeah, that was an odd night phase. I agree with Cole about Vash though - I would've figured the wolves would leave Vash alive for an easy lynching during today's phase. For example, maybe the wolves night-killing shortkut would've been a better idea (if he's not a wolf, that is) as it may've made it look like a potential Vash murder, for failing to die during the lynch vote
I think I'll wait and see for now, then make a vote once more people have posted their thoughts. At least we've kept our resident glovemaker alive, though!

I don't know wtf is even happening anymore at this point. Goofy ahh wolf game. It's hard to tell if this is playing badly or Joker roleplay, but I can't really pick out any names on the player list that I would consider inexperienced players. I don't recall seeing Holly, Raposa, or Zell much in the mafia games I played back in the day, but others seem to consider them experienced and they've been fairly active so I'm inclined to believe it.
Aside from them, there's the people I consider quieter players, like my friends God. and Major Isoor. I feel like they, as well as myself, tend to show up to post once or twice and dip out. But that doesn't really mean we are bad or inexperienced players, just cautious ones who easily fly under the radar until we slip up and say something stupid. And that's consistent in every game I've played with them to my knowledge. (On that note I'm surprised I haven't drawn more heat because this is the most talkative I think I've ever been in a game
)
This is all a long-winded way to say that I'm leaning toward the troll theory for the moment. I know there might be a concern about killing off the big smart talky bois who do the sleuthing and such, but I don't think they're exactly sparse on that roster. I have a hard time believing all 3 wolves are just shitting the bed unless there's low communication and they're just rushing their decisions. But the phases seem pretty generous, so that'd have to be a timezone thing if anything. I know Isoor's an Aussie so it must be him

I don't see much more discussion happening at this time of night/morning, and my work week starts again tomorrow so I'm not sure I'll have much opportunity to check the thread until the night phase starts, so I'm going to just toss a vote on shortkut based on previous suspicions and hope for the best.

Meh, I feel like I’ve been pretty consistent. I have time to pop in here and there but not enough to become embroiled in huge back and forth debates. Sometimes what people say makes sense, but I’m not joining in on a bandwagon unless I think there’s a legit chance they can be a wolf. Which is why I wasn’t opposed to voting kut in the last day phase and so far I’m considering doing it again today too, but for now I’m interested in seeing if there’s still time for last nights kill to shed some light on others.

Honestly I'm sort of honored. I participated in a few wolf/mafia games back in the day but I'd hardly call myself a pro or experienced.
I suspected Coleman and shortkut day 1 but honestly it was because they were both so talkative. And it's true we're all older and have actual responsibilities now so activity or lack thereof cannot be a good barometer for someone's suspiciousness. Night 1 confused me but honestly feels like a troll. We're down @Wasp and @VashTheStampede now. So the advantage is already swinging towards the wolves and we're on day 3 with very little information.
TL;DR: It's Day 3 and I'm less sure of who I suspect than I was the day before, and I was already wishy-washy in my previous posts. I'm not voting yet because of this.

This could come back to bite me if he is lynched and turns out to be a wolf, but I’m not sold on Jawneh. My gut is telling me he’s townie and we’ll be down another point against the wolves if we kill him, so I’m going to go ahead with my vote for shortkut and hopefully balance the scales a little.
If Jawneh’s revealed as a wolf come nightfall, then hopefully I don’t seal my fate here.

It wasn't that he voted to lynch day 1. It was how hard he debated for it.

I don't think it's a reasonable position at all, but more over, he was steadfast in it and voted at random for a joke in the signup thread. it wasn't like he saw some thing he found suspicious in the thread day 1 and committed, but for a completely random vote. that doesn't help the game at all.
I am also not sold on shortkut, I'm not saying that alone makes him a wolf, it's just a suspicipus position. I have no super strong suspicions on any one, just hints.

Exactly, it wasn't that he was voting to lynch day one, it was how hard he went at it.
And then when someone was like "we have like 80% chance to hit a townie at random" and he's like "thats a good thing".

Well, in case I forget to get busy at work, I'll put my vote down for shortkut for now. 75% preservation purposes, 20% suspicions, 5% because he cant let my mediocre pun vote alone. I'm not entirely sold on him though, but could also be that between me and Cole being somewhat of the same mind with votes I'm the easier one to point the finger at and get votes on. Especially since I'm 0-1 with pointing at wolves 
For what it's worth with my flawless townie lynching record, I am keeping an eye out for Holly from the less active folks. I need to go back later and look at all the posts and votes since something made me keep that name in mind.

I already admitted in my post jawnrh has aligned with me but that I also suspect him.

respectfully, we need to find a better way to deal with ties.
I know you don't want the game to go on forever, and simple no lynches for tie can do that. but a coin flip is so random that there's nothing to truly glean from it.
at least with a tie no lynch, it gives a very clear direction of discussion for the next day

i’ll think of a better tiebreaker solution for the next volume of wolf, but i’m still going to roll with the coin flip for Vol. 1 for two reasons: it’s consistent with what the previously stated method for dealing with ties is, and again i don’t want this game to drag when we’ve already had one day phase with no execution

You pretty explicitly called out Jawneh as trying to link with you, and possibly trying to pull you down.
I was just commenting how that might look. I don't think I am trying to separate myself from either of you by saying that.

You find out if that person was a townie or not, and we get information on everyone else who voted. A coin flip is lame, but I don’t see how it takes information away.

there's only luck for you because you're a mathematician and want exact odds. but if you read the psychology there's PLENTY of information out there.
