at the end of each DAY PHASE, there will be an EXECUTION. whoever gets the most votes will be EXECUTED. in the event of a tie, the DAY PHASE will be extended and those who cast votes for non-tied members will be asked to recast their votes. think of it like a runoff but for getting shot by a silver bullet

So that's a bit of a pickle, can't even suggest we just let someone die at random. No Trolley Problem outcome for us. I'm sure someone would've gone for that as an option. Indiscriminate and totally fair slaughter.

My other method of choosing at random, choosing #4 or #5 on the player list, is also not going to work. That's me! ...And Cole, but that's less relevant.

I'm going to vote for Zell 17. There's a very logical and scientific reason for it, I assure you. It's not random at all. Arbitrary, perhaps, but certainly not random. That'll do for now.

I'm going to take the coward's way out and vote for this Abstain guy. Votes are too sprinkled around and I'm worried about accidentially voting someone out that has high probability of being a towns person.
Still very weary of Zell, kut, and Cole. Warp and Jawneh are being weird, too.

so it looks like we've settled on voting. and given how few people haven't voted, it looks like any one of us could be the deciding vote

I lean shortkut a little, the no kill is such a move, only a few people would really try it, and the fact that it perfectly helped his story is so convenient.

but then again, someone like Zell or Vash (or even Jawneh or Warp based on how these messages have gone) could have done it just to frame shortkut. ...or even to frame me for framing shortkut.

GUH so many variables and my brain isn't working.

I HATE voting when I don't have even a real suspicion, the same people I'm suspicious of, also make great civis and I don't wanna be the one ousting them.

yesterday I was adamant about a no vote.

today is VERY VERY BARELY any better than yesterday... but a second no vote isn't the way to go either.

I don't know how to respond to the aggressive accusation without sounding aggressive or defensive. Either of which is indicative of someone with something to hide!

Problem: I don't know that I've ever been in a game with Ants before. That's a complete unknown variable, but, it's not difficult to see both him and shortkut voting for me to save themselves.

Solution: I have to change my vote to shortkut now. If after all of this you're a wolf, I just want to say that I absolutely, totally, positively always knew it. All along. Zero doubts! Even though this seems a little too obvious and you're most likely a townie.

Hoo boy these are some close numbers. Voting Warp because shortkut will likely also vote Warp out of preservation to force a tie between my two biggest choices if Ants doesn't show up. I'm not all that suspicious of Ants yet, but if he does show up to vote, that will give us more information on him as well.

I’m having a busy night, got (re)married three weeks ago and we’re having our first rare kid-free night since then so we’re doing a sort of mini-honeymoon but I wanted to pop in real quick and get a vote in because as I said earlier, I think a non-lynching on day 2 is a bad idea.

Sorry for a lame reason for this choice, but going with shortkut because he’s one of the three I initially suspected and now it looks like he might get voted off (yes bandwagon, sorry, if I get flack for it later then I accept the consequences).

okay so those of you that have played with me before know I will never assume suspicion of someone purely because they voted for me, I'm always suspicious it's how I play

but I DO find this very odd. I get there's no easy vote here. but you could be potentially outright saving shortkut. and if he's one of your two prime suspects... why?

what would prompt you to give shortkut a chance to save himself *now* in the 11th hour?

but it's... not really a bandwagon, yes Ants said he did, but more than half the players listed shortkut as one of their potential suspects (including ants). so people were already thinking about voting for him.

it just seems odd to me, you're potentially saving someone you claim is at the top of your suspect list next to me.

So right now I am leaning for voting for shortkut, unfortunately.

The whole "I said I was gonna vote for this person so I'm sticking with it" he pulled with Ants on day one is such a classic move that gives you plausible deniability when you merc a civvy. It's almost like trying to get a freebie murder.

And then the follow-up with the wolves not voting was a slick move. I totally see kut capable of slick moves. Yeah, it has a high likelihood of backfiring, but I personally see him as the type of ballsy player that would attempt it.

It just gives him the ability to claim he was being framed and live another day.

i mean, to tell the truth i was gonna go to bed and whatever happens in this thread overnight happens. the votes need to happen sure but i can’t realistically keep more discussion from happening lol. the day phase is being extended, not reopened—the only change is that everyone who already voted for the people who are tied can’t change their votes. i ain’t gonna muzzle anybody or nothin’ though
