ok so at long last i have finally updated the first post with our 17 (if my count is right) players. some other things:

- there will be a night 0. enough games have been ran that "oh no someone didn't get to play" doesn't quite work as an excuse for not liking night 0. everyone with a night action will be able to use it during this first night. also,

Night 1 everyone will be told their role and their number (1-16, randomly given). All people with night roles can choose to target a specific number, not knowing who it is. Day 1 I'll announce what number belong to which players and then we proceed as usual.

- borrowing this idea from zell.
- goal is to start night 0 tonight and start day 1 in the morning. nights for 12 hours, days for 24. that means there is still some time to sign up.
- we currently have 17 players, so the ratio i'm going with is gonna be 4 wolves to 13 townies. i won't increase the number to 5 wolves unless we hit 20 total players which i don't think is too likely.
- my games won't have non-affiliated players with separate win conditions (so no Fool) nor will they have actions that can take place during the day, save for the Tycoon. that's just my own personal flavor
- throughout the day i might add some more roles to the first post but since i don't want this game to get oversaturated, there will be some just plain townies with no powers in this game. them's the breaks
- no role claiming. especially no sharing screenshots of our PMs. i don't want to and can't control what goes on in PMs so trust at your own discretion.

Can you be really specific on this on what is allowed? Let’s say I’m a normal townie. Am I allowed to say “I’m just a villager”? If I’m aura seer or the equivalent, can I say “I had a vision of Cole” or whatever and beat around the bush?

What about false claims? If I’m a wolf, can I say “I’m just a normal villager without powers”?

how about this:

- you can’t claim a role by name but sure, you could beat around the bush and make it stylistic
- false claims are a-ok. lie all you want, that’s part of the game. just be a better liar than me just know that the only source anyone is gonna have is “just trust me”

Back on the original forum we had a scenario almost like this, but with a twist: Instead of voting for themselves, both candidates and most of the people voting for them all changed to @Madden_07 in the 11th hour. Took him from 0 or maybe 1 vote to dead, and naturally he was just some random villager/townie.
