Yeah it's weird. People are taking these too seriously so far.

They're fun games for us to try and trick or friends into trusting us before we murder them behind their backs. Not insult then to their faces.

Also yeah I'd love to continue with dead threads like Zell's games...so much I've wanted to far but have held back because people might try to grab it and use as arguments.

I do think it was cool of Fool's to apologize and I don't think he would have said anything like that had he known. Obviously it's not an excuse and you obviously don't have to forgive him (at least not immediately :link ).

But the cool part of the game is now you can legally murder him for revenge.

So there's that.

I'm stepping away from these forums for a while. Sorry to leave mid game.

I got heavy into this game to try to distract myself as a coping mechanism, but this backfired, especially when that comment rolled out.

I didn't want to lash out and I tried, but I didn't sleep last night after it and when something affects me personally to that extreme I know it's not good to bottle it but I tried. I tried to keep it to just the game in my initial response but I was still fuming and hurt after I tried to do that.

Fine he apologized, but I was trying to keep the discussion to the game. Sure, he can't know exactly why I'm with my mom on the weekend, but this should be a lesson that you never know what the fuck is going on in someone's life and sometimes you just gotta be decent and use common sense.

I'll probably be back at some point.

I hate it strictly from a game perspective because you are one of the best players on the board.

Obviously take care of what you have to, but please come back because we’ll miss having you.

My understanding is: If I was the halfling and the wolves killed @Abstain , the seer, if they viewed Alu that night could be given the name shortkut. The seer wouldn’t be told which wolf role I was, they would just get the name Shortkut. Since the seer would know they targeted Alu, not shortkut, they would know that Shortkut is some type of wolf

This is what I'm assuming based on the other comments, but I'm trying to be extra sure because the Seer description doesn't specify the possibility of a Halfling being named. It just says "random wolf".
