Only about 22 million of cap hit, pretty much what most people what actually looked at the contract knew would happen after year 2

Hell this probably ends up being the better long term option? Gettleman cap hell is over. If we didnt tag him and let him go, we probably get a better bridge QB, we dont have Nabers as we would have won more games last season and definitely wouldnt have been able to get one of the top 3 picks QBs last year

While this draft doesnt look great on paper, we wont know until a few more seasons.

Barkley is proving why the run game is super important and valuable. Disappointed I needed to get to sleep early, because I missed a really good game from him last night.

This time of year in particular rushing is important to wear opponents down. And triply so with a young QB because they tend to hit the rookie wall at this point since their college season is wrapping up.

He shouldn't have started the season imo, but if he's not he won't until end of season. Even if YOU forgot you had a timeout, SOMEONE should have known.

It was an inexcusable game. Too much talent on that offensive side of the ball to constantly come up short and lost 6 in a row.

Yeah... they aren't going to bench the #1 overall pick, who has been playing decent, for trying to win when the coach left them out to dry. With 48 seconds on the clock, if 10 seconds have gone by and you don't have a play, call a time out. You were 5 yards out of FG range to tie the game.

NO CHANCE they punish him for trying to save the game.
