So the Bengals need the Broncos to lose to the Chiefs to make the playoffs which would normally feel like a lock, but of course the Chiefs have nothing to play for and are resting their starters.

Honestly the whole "play a team of backups in a playoffs scenario" game annoys me; I understand why backups are played but still.

...on the flipside, maybe the Bengals will finally shitcan Taylor.

I'm not a Bengals fan, my wife is, I don't mind them so they're my defacto backup team.

I think the Jets winning is less likely, TBH

I've watched no more than one game this year so can't speak to it, but oddsmakers have the Jets as the favorites so I was going based off that.

Either way, my point about a team starting backups in meaningful games stands, and just continues to prove the NFL is a league that lacks parity it desperately needs.

The hilarious thing was they just spent a good ten minutes hyping Rodgers up as one of the greatest to play the sport as a QB in the league.

Rodgers was really good at one thing: Limiting turnovers. The problem: In order to keep that a thing, he plays far too conservatively, rarely taking chances. Now that he has a noodle arm and no mobility, he can't do anything
I hate Aaron Rodgers (as a person) as much as the next guy, but to claim he was really good at "one thing" is a huge disservice. He's one of the most efficient passers to ever play the game and very rarely had a good supporting cast around him.

Now I'm sure over the last few years he's not as good, but the dude is old.

I feel for those young one-and-done coaches. Really doesn't even give a chance to show what they can do, especially when taking over a not-good team.

I don't think Mayo should have been a head coach honestly. He went essentially from player to being on Belichick's staff. Never head coached a team at any level. He should take this as an opportunity to go into college and coach, get more experience. He was so overmatched all year.

I'm heavily disappointed the Pats threw the first pick away. The argument is there is no clear number 1 and they don't need a QB... but the last time a 1 was traded, the Bears got DJ Moore a first and a second... the haul they COULD have gotten would have set them up to rebuild on the fly. If ever there was a time to tank a game, this was it. They will likely still draft Tet McMillan at 4, like they would have anyway, but they would have had more assets. (I am VERY out on Travis Hunter to the Patriots; I like the kid, and he's good, but this isn't Shohei Ohtani...)

Not they are almost forced to throw $35 million at Higgins as well.

Man, this Lions v Vikings match is intense! Another shutdown by the Lions defense.
The fact that their defense did that, to a high powered offense with how many key pieces they have on IR is remarkable.

I am 100% pulling for the Lions to win it all. Go get it, boys!

Man, this game has just fallen apart for the Chargers. Houston looked like total ass going into the playoffs and did not play well at the start. But the Chargers offensive hasn't been able to do ANYTHING and Herbert has now thrown 3 picks. Same amount as his season total.

Houston may not make it to the big game, but they're proving their worth in this game.

I was the only one who took the Texans? lmao
They've been terrible and Stroud looked lost at times. That and the Chargers defense has looked good.

But alas... a Harbaugh failing to impress in the playoffs is common.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers ( :puke) win.
