only 3 more 1k seasons to tie Jerry's other 1k yard record.Mike Evans just tied Jerry Rice for 1,000 yard record.
No pressure.only 3 more 1k seasons to tie Jerry's other 1k yard record.
I think the Jets winning is less likely, TBHSo the Bengals need the Broncos to lose to the Chiefs to make the playoffs which would normally feel like a lock, but of course the Chiefs have nothing to play for and are resting their starters.
Honestly the whole "play a team of backups in a playoffs scenario" game annoys me; I understand why backups are played but still.
...on the flipside, maybe the Bengals will finally shitcan Taylor.
I'm not a Bengals fan, my wife is, I don't mind them so they're my defacto backup team.
I think the Chief backups could still win. I don't think the Broncos have had a consistent record this year.I think the Jets winning is less likely, TBH
I don't think Evans will play that long. I think next season will be his last. He'll play out this short contract and retire. No pressure.
Not a bad idea either with that 3 million dollar bonus he just got.I don't think Evans will play that long. I think next season will be his last. He'll play out this short contract and retire.
that's what I mean. I think the Chiefs backup squad beating the Broncos is more likely than the Jets beating the DolphinsI think the Chief backups could still win. I don't think the Broncos have had a consistent record this year.
Whoops, my bad. I hope the Bengals make it in. They deserve it after that crap the other year against the Chiefs in the playoffs.that's what I mean. I think the Chiefs backup squad beating the Broncos is more likely than the Jets beating the Dolphins
I've watched no more than one game this year so can't speak to it, but oddsmakers have the Jets as the favorites so I was going based off that.I think the Jets winning is less likely, TBH
the Jets are REALLY badI've watched no more than one game this year so can't speak to it, but oddsmakers have the Jets as the favorites so I was going based off that.
Either way, my point about a team starting backups in meaningful games stands, and just continues to prove the NFL is a league that lacks parity it desperately needs.
Aren't they always?the Jets are REALLY bad
Why continue to play him then?Rodgers was really good at one thing: Limiting turnovers. The problem: In order to keep that a thing, he plays far too conservatively, rarely taking chances. Now that he has a noodle arm and no mobility, he can't do anything
500 TDsWhy continue to play him then?
I hate Aaron Rodgers (as a person) as much as the next guy, but to claim he was really good at "one thing" is a huge disservice. He's one of the most efficient passers to ever play the game and very rarely had a good supporting cast around him.Rodgers was really good at one thing: Limiting turnovers. The problem: In order to keep that a thing, he plays far too conservatively, rarely taking chances. Now that he has a noodle arm and no mobility, he can't do anything
I don't think Mayo should have been a head coach honestly. He went essentially from player to being on Belichick's staff. Never head coached a team at any level. He should take this as an opportunity to go into college and coach, get more experience. He was so overmatched all year.I feel for those young one-and-done coaches. Really doesn't even give a chance to show what they can do, especially when taking over a not-good team.
The fact that their defense did that, to a high powered offense with how many key pieces they have on IR is remarkable.Man, this Lions v Vikings match is intense! Another shutdown by the Lions defense.
Houston offense finally gets on the field.
Fumbles the first play.
I was the only one who took the Texans? lmao@Alu is the only one that correctly predicted the Chargers were a fraud.
They've been terrible and Stroud looked lost at times. That and the Chargers defense has looked good.I was the only one who took the Texans? lmao
I wish they could both lose.Steelers are getting their assessment handed to them.
sameI wish they could both lose.
Isn't that exactly what they signed him for?As of this post:
Steelers: 157 total yards, 1 TD
Henry: 155 rushing yards, 2 TDs
