Can't say I blame them. Lamar plays selfish AF for 17 games only to piss down his legs in the playoffs every year. Allen and Lamar both don't deserve MVP imo. Imo that away is the most valuable player, the player where the team would not be where they are without. That's Allen more than Lamar, imo, but both are where they are because selfish plays and running TDs. To me, Daniels is the MVP. I know he'll win OROY, but that Washington team is nothing without his development.

Josh Allen has played really well in the playoffs.

His teams are 7-5 and made it to the AFCC twice, he has a 23-4 TD/INT ratio, 300p passing yards, over 600 rushing yards with 7 rushing TD. The problem with Allen has been that his defense couldn't stop a nosebleed and they keep running into Pat Mahomes (and Joe Burrow one year).

It's perhaps not the most inspiring, but you can't really argue with the track record, which is recent enough that there'll be some hope that he can bring success. Or at least credible, watchable football. It's really a matter of whether his relationship with the Seahawks ran out of steam, or whether he himself ran out of steam. Given his age it could certainly be the latter, but I guess we'll find out.

was trying to remember who got poached from the panthers in 2018. i think they’re a couple years off because i looked it up and i forgot sean mcdermott used to be our DC. the current bills GM moved around the same time, he used to be our assistant GM! there was even a brief time period where people were calling buffalo Panthers North lol since a lot of players they signed were former panthers too.

That last series of plays in the Eagles drive was a bunch of shit. Washington is trying to stop the tush push, a player jumps over the line twice to try to stop them but is too early. The refs announce that if the player does it again, he can be hit with an unsportsmanlike penalty. So, the Eagles with mere inches to go, starts doing fake snap counts to draw them offsides. It works. Then the refs announce that the Eagles can be awarded a score if Washington keeps "intentionally" jumping offsides.

And people wonder why they want the tush push banned.

the most conspiracy-y thing in bills/chiefs was that late 4th and 1 where one official signaled first down and the other signaled no good and then they went to booth review and said no good. i don't think that necessarily lost the game for the bills but it sure as shooting took all the wind out of their sails

my prediction is that this is the super bowl where the most people will go out of their way to tell you they're not watching it, and it will still set viewership records

i will be tuning into halftime however. i think this is the first halftime show where i've actually seen the featured artist live (he opened for kanye on the yeezus tour. what a different time)

I actually am pretty indifferent to the Chiefs. Actually it is kind of refreshing to see a small market have this dominance (that isnt Pittsburg because fuck Steeler fans)

The 4th down call was close, I lean towards he got it, but fuck it was close. Really no excuse to not have technology that can determine ball placement

There were really only two questionable calls in the game, and both were close enough to give benefit of doubt. The 4th and 1 call, and the pass to Worthy that also had a defensive holding call.

There were seriously Chiefs fans acting like it was pointless to challenge the Worthy catch because "the Bills are just going to be penalized anyway" as if a defensive holding penalty has the same amount of yardage as a 26 yard pass...

Rest of the game was luckily called pretty well. The Bills were truly outcoached.

True, though had some bad luck. Could have easily beat the Pats in the super bowl, it was close and had some tough comp in the NFC. That Tampa Team that beat them is one of the all time great D's

It was the right call. He clearly grabbed and turned his facemask, in addition to fully extending the arm. Textbook OPI but everyone starts with the conclusion and uses that to justify the calls.
