So the spread on the Raiders/Phins is 14.

Am I a lunatic for thinking that's a bit much and the Raiders can come within 14?

Defense has been quietly good.

It's really difficult to predict a spread so large. The game could be a blowout until the end and then the team that's behind gets within 10 during garbage time.

But it's a good spread in the sense that I think it's a complete toss-up and that's what the spread is designed to do.
Mm yeah that's a good point too.

Spreads are such a tricky thing to navigate.

Ratbirds vs Bungles

Who wins?
Speaking of the Bungles...

CINCINNATI (WXIX/Gray News) - Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy says he is filing a class action lawsuit against the Cincinnati Bengals and the NFL.

Portnoy posted a screenshot Thursday night of a $120,000 bet he reportedly placed on the Bengals to cover the four-point spread against the Baltimore Ravens.

Just a few hours later, Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow left the game with an injury to his right wrist. The injury caught the spotlight not just for what it meant to the Bengals' season, but also because of the possibility the team knew Burrow may have been injured before the game.

WXIX reports that the Bengals shared a photo on Wednesday of Burrow walking off the team plane where he could be seen wearing a wrap around his right wrist.

The image was later deleted. Some on social media claimed it was an iPad glove on his wrist.

According to The Associated Press, the NFL is investigating the situation to determine if the Bengals violated the league's injury report policy.

On Friday, Portnoy said he is filing a class action lawsuit against the Bengals and the NFL. "There is no shot I put 100k hard earned dollars on the Bengals if I knew Joe Burrow was injured going into the game," Portnoy shared online.

This whole thing is silly.

Burrow showed zero signs of actually being hurt until Clowney clobbered him.

The only reason the NFL is even taking a look at this whole thing themselves is because they're in bed with bookies and this whole lawsuit being attempted only highlights that further.

I don't know if Burrow was hurt or not, it does look like an iPod glove but it could also be a brace.

That said - this whole injury report enforcement stuff is nonsense. It's week 11, nobody is at 100%.

I hope this guy loses the lawsuit. Don't try to blame your poor judgment of betting six figures on an injury. You bet six figures, you know the risk.

I didn't watch any of them.

Not gonna watch any games today, was going to watch the Raiders but when I heard Crosby will be out, not gonna watch that massacre.

The Raiders game will be much closer than you might think. The Chiefs only have 1 guy that can catch the ball and he gets double or triple teamed on every play.
I don't know...with Crosby hurt, our defense is a shell of itself and your D should eat AOC alive.

I'm expecting a blow out.

Frank Reich can be the first to go.
The GM needs to go, too. They are in a HORRIBLE spot. Trading the picks they traded when the team was already in a shit position just so they could get a QB was an AWFUL plan.

Yeah I'm a Raiders fan but the Chargers are getting hosed.

Also, imagine giving up three firsts to go up to the #1 pick to get a QB only to do so poorly that the pick you gave up became #1 overall the next year and a player that has the potential to be a generational QB.

Reactions: Jon
Watch #18 (Dionate Johnson) not block the CB during a rush attempt, then look as the football jumps out and the calmly walk to the sideline as the player he was supposed to block takes the fumble recovery back ~30 yards.

He's taking a lot of heat for this, but when I watched it live (and again on the replay), it really looked like Warren was down by contact. They are letting everything play out nowadays, but I was fairly certain that wasn't a fumble. Of course, on the more detailed replay, it was, but I sort of understand why he didn't do anything.

panthers owner david tepper:

don't get me wrong, i'm glad reich is gone. but this team is 30-63 since tepper bought the team with six straight losing seasons to show for it. we have had as many non-interim head coaches (rhule and reich) in the last four years than we did from 2002-2019 (john fox and ron rivera). tepper can performatively say curse words in front of reporters all he wants. the blame for this franchise going from nfc championship to laughingstock in less than a decade is squarely on his shoulders
