I, Tubbeth the 23rd, do solemnly admit to having lied about the circumstances of Ben's death. I was in fact not watching Ben die but instead was spending a dreary night watching what happened at Casa del Raine.

Out of a mounting concern that this town was "fucked" I decided to blatantly lie throwing Raine and Tommy Boy up as targets (people who were the top of my target list). While regrettable in the confusion made, Tommy's death is a stark reminder that a white lie will get you places. In this case, killed the next day.

They may have known I was lying but they also may have suspected Rain me was on my case and could have used me as a plausible vote the next day. It could really go both ways there.

LH may be a wolf though

The only people who have blatantly said Local was the Fool are Benzine and Alu.

They have the Blind Wolf.

It just doesn't make sense for FR to be lying, and then for Tommy to also be lying on top of that - while also offering up entirely too much information on his team. AND Tubby's lie, for extra measure. Since Tubby's lie is the only reason I believed the town was in a better position than they were to begin with.

...Maybe.

That's a lot of lying.

Incidentally this does mean shortkut is not the Avenger, but the Illusionist. Probably?

Based on what I have open still, I think this is it.

Could make arguments in a couple of places, but ultimately - Kelly pegged Dean, Benzine did indeed see you as the Illusionist. I believe both are legit.

Alu managed to skirt by without having to prove himself, he chose Tubby over Tommy, I would have to look deeper into voting patterns to be super certain (shortkut pushed for the day to wrap up quickly, so I dropped it).

I'll be honest, the idea of blowing everything to smithereens just to deny the wolves a victory came to mind a couple of times.

As did other ideas, like using a potential Avenger as a yo-yo to kill the Fool in lieu of using a night kill. :giggle

I had so many contingency plans, it was silly. All for naught~ :bah
