Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
Not "just has bad luck" -- we clearly made some bad plays too -- but it felt more fair this time around, like wolves could still make a mistake and have a shot.

Balance will never be perfect but I can't say that I felt this game was heavily weighted to the town and came down to the way it was played.

shortkut being an avenger was maybe the biggest town wildcard.

I don't think so. Maybe too hard now? I'm thinking maybe only due to the random roles. Maybe instead of random roles those are unknown roles that you pick for balance/interaction sake instead of getting 3 aura seers for a game. Granted the town seers died or didn't die to contribute this time around, so it was all about mindgames, claims, and bluffs. All of which I'm not super good at yet personally as I like to work with facts.

Or maybe I'm crying about random roles since I can't fully plan against something I don't know about. :D I'll probably still do the same of standing in the sidelines until I find my avenue to attack.

The possibility that there could be three aura seers is what gives wolves a license to fake aura seer at will.

Hay doods @TD snapping must have summoned Zeus instead because my PSU on my PC and TV got fried in the storm. I haven’t read pretty much any of my 20 notifications because I don’t do GWF mobile, but good game and sorry for lying even in the dead thread lol. Now that the game is over I am hanging up my fur and hopefully am never a wolf again. Will talk again when I have a PC again.

Does anyone think that the balance issues would be less of an issue with a larger player base?

I'm not as well versed in the analytics of things as most of you and 99% of my experience in the game has been since this site launched, so I'm curious as to more experienced/intelligent takes.

No, I don't think it is. But I mean with these exact parameters - at least one obscured kill, a Fool, an active Random Killer, 3/4 RRVs.

wolves could still make a mistake and have a shot.
This was the biggest problem for the wolves previously, in my estimation. The wolves could theoretically win if absolutely everything went flawlessly - but if they got nailed by a killer, blocked by a protector, or the Solo Killer was MIA then it was effectively done. I believe that problem didn't truly exist in this game.

It's kind of hard to make a true judgment call on this one, though. You change a couple of things anywhere in this game, that might not exist in the next game, and everything easily goes sideways. :shrug

If he really is the avenger, I wonder who he has set to bring down with him
At this point in the game I had TD tagged
He was the first person I tagged so we could die together as was always intended by prophecy
Lambchop next to a lady of the night is a very powerful combo.
I think it looks better next to my flawless victory badge and next to @Altoona Pizza ’s match
Yeah I am definitely curious as well.

I'm not used to seeing nobody talk about how they're disappointed in me after a game and he might be my last hope.
I told you before the game ended I was disappointed you didn’t post more memes… and now that I’m here, I’m doubling down on that sentiment
@shortkut I see you reacting back there! You pushing so hard to skip phases basically shot my "He's the fucking Illusionist 👀" radar into outer space, regardless of what I had previously thought. :rofl
It’s taking me so long to get through this thread

I think this was the most balanced game yet

As I played the marksman, is that you are able to go back and shoot at any mark you have placed. Just to speed up the marksman if they are indecisive. I'm more or less saying this thanks to night 1 often being a bust, but maybe new info comes up day 2 and if you moved your mark you gotta wait again to act.
