Nah, it felt more balanced this time. We just had a bit of shit luck.Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
4 random roles was, in my opinion, a great addition. Helped balance. I think another game with the fool would be very welcome tooSerious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
Not "just has bad luck" -- we clearly made some bad plays too -- but it felt more fair this time around, like wolves could still make a mistake and have a shot.Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
Balance will never be perfect but I can't say that I felt this game was heavily weighted to the town and came down to the way it was played.Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
I don't think so. Maybe too hard now? I'm thinking maybe only due to the random roles. Maybe instead of random roles those are unknown roles that you pick for balance/interaction sake instead of getting 3 aura seers for a game. Granted the town seers died or didn't die to contribute this time around, so it was all about mindgames, claims, and bluffs. All of which I'm not super good at yet personally as I like to work with facts.Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
The possibility that there could be three aura seers is what gives wolves a license to fake aura seer at will.I don't think so. Maybe too hard now? I'm thinking maybe only due to the random roles. Or maybe I'm crying about random roles since I can't fully plan against something I don't know about. I'll probably still do the same of standing in the sidelines until I find my avenue to attack.
Maybe you should put in 3 random avengers in the next game for shits and giggles. And a wolf avenger or two. And a guaranteed avenger. The possibility that there could be three aura seers is what gives wolves a license to fake aura seer at will.
This checks out.Hay doods @TD snapping must have summoned Zeus instead because my PSU on my PC and TV got fried in the storm.
I’m starting season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I just realized: Amy is quite literally the grammar police.Does anyone think that the balance issues would be less of an issue with a larger player base?
I'm not as well versed in the analytics of things as most of you and 99% of my experience in the game has been since this site launched, so I'm curious as to more experienced/intelligent takes.
I always pick 6 or 9.Everyone picks 1 and 16

No, I don't think it is. But I mean with these exact parameters - at least one obscured kill, a Fool, an active Random Killer, 3/4 RRVs.Serious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
This was the biggest problem for the wolves previously, in my estimation. The wolves could theoretically win if absolutely everything went flawlessly - but if they got nailed by a killer, blocked by a protector, or the Solo Killer was MIA then it was effectively done. I believe that problem didn't truly exist in this game.wolves could still make a mistake and have a shot.
At this point in the game I had TD taggedIf he really is the avenger, I wonder who he has set to bring down with him
He was the first person I tagged so we could die together as was always intended by prophecyAnts
I think it looks better next to my flawless victory badge and next to @Altoona Pizza ’s matchLambchop next to a lady of the night is a very powerful combo.
I told you before the game ended I was disappointed you didn’t post more memes… and now that I’m here, I’m doubling down on that sentimentYeah I am definitely curious as well.
I'm not used to seeing nobody talk about how they're disappointed in me after a game and he might be my last hope.
It’s taking me so long to get through this thread@shortkut I see you reacting back there! You pushing so hard to skip phases basically shot my "He's the fucking Illusionist " radar into outer space, regardless of what I had previously thought.
I think this was the most balanced game yetSerious question though, is the takeaway from this game (specifically, game 7) that it's still weighted too heavily in favor of the town?
Agreed. Which is why I don't think we should change how roles work this time around. At least nothing major.I think this was the most balanced game yet
