Given I don't play every game but this is an interesting point. Aside from Tubby's game the only other game I can think of was the FQ game where you were Poly and you had no issues leading an attempted lynch in that one.

Those were the only two games I was a good guy lol. And FWIW you get quite a bit of support leading lynches when you have 3 other people to back you up

None of that happened besides you getting pulled.

You could not appear to be in league with local and a citizen by getting pulled, because that would mean the bailiff thought local and you were guilty. Once he was revealed as innocent, it becomes you guessed he was not guilty or you knew because you were mafia

I thought this was weird at first but then realized it was just a way to role claim without leaving any doubt.

It wasn’t. It was because pre-trial I thought he was guilty and wanted to ensure we could have enough guilty votes. I thought about messaging Vash when my opinion started to change but I didn’t. By that point it was too late and had to agree with FR

Oh and FWIW I didn't do it in Tubby's game, and here's why:

I was so tired of wolf by that point. I was really tired of always being the bad guy, always putting so much work in, and never getting anywhere. I only joined the game because Tubby put a lot of work into it, and I wanted to support him.

When I got the killing role, I thought "I have a hunch, fuck it, yolo, if I die, I don't have to pay attention to this game."

Then I realized I had infinite ammo hax.

The best part? I still barely paid attention to the game after that.

Claiming Patsy was bold. We acknowledged it was THE place to hide as SK, but also gave us JUST enough doubt about killing him. At that point, we were thinking SK was either Jon, Tubby, or shortkut.

We checked that with Vash, and it sounds like Tubby did too. The plan was to kill Tubby at one point, perhaps along with Clairvoyant? But Vash said the patsy's info would be revealed to all players regardless

That's not what I'm saying at all. Local's defense was "if I were Mafia, then why would I be pushing so hard to go after Zell, who is clearly evil?" And there are valid ways to refute that (maybe he's not really evil and the real Jimmy Zoos hid his animals well, maybe the Mafia decided he was too obvious to deny so accusing him is making the most of it), but instead you said "But you ARE accusing him, so that's not a defense".

Maybe you genuinely misunderstood his post. Lots of things seem suspicious that are actually innocent mistakes or coincidences. That's how I interpreted it, though.

I think I really did just underestimate how convincing Zell was with his claims that he wasn't Dr. Doolittle. I know I had all of the knowledge already, but regardless, the only person with two identified animal names on Day 2 would've signaled to me that they were most likely to be Mafia.

I think we thought we could play fast and loose lol. It was after Tommy outed the tell that we had to play smart. I found a list of obscure and easily hide-able animals and suggested a few. I'm sure that's revealed later on, too.

This was me overthinking for sure. The night Dean/Jawneh died I even said it was Zell because no one else met that criteria.
