My daughter's cheer team just came in third at the MA State championship today! We move into regionals next in New Hampshire on November 19.
If they place in that too, we go to Nationals in Florida in December.
They had a rough start to their routine and a girl fell from the top but holy crap did they pull it together and finish strong. Had they not fallen they are probably U12 MA champs. Still proud as heck. We thought they were done after the fall so when they announced the awards I nearly cried. What a rush.

Apologies for not being that active this last week, I've been in a sad, weird state of mind.
My kids maternal grandfather died in August, and we had the funeral (he was cremated) a month-ish after. We were pretty devastated all of us (fuck cancer up it's stupid ass...).
And this wednesday we had his urn deposit (unsure if that is the ebglish term, but google said so), which recalled a lot of memories and crap. The man was like an extra father to me since me and the ex met at a young age, and he's been a huge part of my life for a long time.
But I'm getting to a better mental place again!

I’ve just been getting stuff from the dispensaries out here lately. I’ve been pretty impressed with what I’ve gotten so far now that we’re several months into legal recreational use.

Can't go a single block without seeing a dispensary here, they're always well-trafficked and people seem sufficiently pleased with their products.

We have a dispensary the next town over to the west, and then 3 others the next town southeast of us of. We’ve only been to the one west of us and one of the ones southeast of us, so the accessibility isn’t quite like that here yet. I assume next year when more licenses are issued we will see more stores open.

Oh absolutely! It took a bit here, but the buildup has been incredible. There's one in particular right near Sun City, a retirement community here, it's the busiest I've seen by far! Getting the good stuff with grandma!

My issue with the dispensaries here is that the first several months the selection was garbage. It was infinitely cheaper and I was getting a higher quality flower buying through the usual sources over the dispensary, now potency is up there and prices are more competitive.

Saw a refurbished Asus Chromebook on Walmart for about $45; might get that one.

I'd say if you're on your computer for a large portion of your day then you should invest in something decent. A Chromebook might catch on fire if you're on it for several hours a day, all day / every day
