Everyone stop what you're doing! It's happening! GW's own Alu is having a baby!! Come and congratulate him here: Need some help identifying this picture.
We're so happy for you, Alu!Hey - this is the most unified on an initial plan we've been!(( I think you might be able to cobble something together from the sheer number of die rolls. Just an overwhelming amount of rolls. 100 monkeys with 100 bugbear beds could build an a-frame I think ))
Do I have to do a nature check to see what type of pine?Do you have some oil-based paint? In case the wood is pine.
Use Tortle Dude's naturally oily skin as a base.Do you have some oil-based paint? In case the wood is pine.
this is the first time we want to try to do something rightVash 9 days ago: maybe we'll finish the chapter tonight
Us now: whoa whoa whoa hold up
I mean - although our plan for Klarg was a disorganized mess...this is the first time we want to try to do something right
The whole battle was easily my favourite one so far. It held up as what felt was going to be our first big battle.I absolutely loved the planning before the Klarg fight.
I also loved that it didn't go as planned at all, because that's just classic DnD.
Just were winging that. This we are tryingI mean - although our plan for Klarg was a disorganized mess...
It still worked.
Don’t disagree with me, @TD , we each had our own plan and just overlapped them to give the appearance of a cohesive planJust were winging that. This we are trying
Also fyi - I'm actually hoping for a result on my History check (whenever you get to it).

That’s because we had 3 different plans at the same timeI would argue that was more planned out than anything else we've done.
That's a plan.That’s because we had 3 different plans at the same time
Yes!It was definitely a "if this goes poorly, move to here, if that goes poorly, move to there, if that ends poorly... run!"
But we missed the first went poorly with Dude getting brutally beaten down.![]()
Yes but the travois is the first time we are all working on the same plan at the same time with the same goal in mindThat's a plan.
If anything I loved it even more. It was kind of hilarious that I kept doing concentration spells then getting knocked out. I would've been disappointed if Dude truly died, but I feel like the whole situation encapsulated Dude as a character very well.I'm very glad to hear that, I was legitimately concerned you wouldn't have enjoyed it because of getting dropped twice by Klarg.
But with a crit he could have killed anyone else in the party with one blow. So you facetanking him worked out pretty well, even if you didn't take a crit.
I'm sorry, did you not see my unofficial roll for that?Yes!
Now please help us make a travois
Dude just wants it in case we stumble across a lettuce farm.Yes but the travois is the first time we are all working on the same plan at the same time with the same goal in mind
I really didn’t want Dude to dieIf anything I loved it even more. It was kind of hilarious that I kept doing concentration spells then getting knocked out. I would've been disappointed if Dude truly died, but I feel like the whole situation encapsulated Dude as a character very well.
...that was also a big reason I was tanking him.
Does a chapter end assume long rest?
Nah, you were only stabilized so you're at 1@VashTheStampede
I took myself out of death but only to 1hp. Not sure if I have more.
Dragmire is cool with anything because he gets his spell slots back with a short rest, so he can keep watch while everyone else long rests if necessary@GwJumpman
@shortkut
@Raine
Long rest feels the most prudent in case we have more combat encounters... but I don't know if it's actually a good idea.
Thoughts?
