It is, however, a made up tell. Why else would I start my first post of day 1 the way I did?

I'm trying to wrap my head around faking a tell. That would make you look super sus 95% of the time. I can't see how this could be used to a non-mafia player benefit.

If this was a way to use a Snitch ability, I feel like doing the same thing TD did in the previous Mafia game by blatantly asking to be put on the stand makes more sense than teasing a booze tell and then "accidentally" posting a gif that just happens to involve booze...

I was leaning towards not guilty, but I'm not so sure now...

Trials/Death
In this game, you aren't voting to lynch anyone, you're voting to send them to jail. The person jailed is not immediately removed from the game, but instead is "put on trial" during the next day phase. Once jailed, they cannot use any special abilities until released from jail (be that by early release or being found Innocent). However, when on trial, you can feel free to role claim as much as you want to try and save your bacon. Otherwise, I ask that you refrain from any role claiming. Hinting, however, is allowed.

For this part, the rules did not state that there person arrested can not be killed by mad bomber or Mafia, even though I makes sense since you would be in police custody...

Even so, I thought I was being safe by making myself look sus and not just outright saying, vote for me!! (Such I did also do...Twice, although not very emphatically).

People we know are not the Bomber:

Kelly: fewer posts than Benzine day 1
FR: in jail night 1
Local: in jail night 2
Tommy: he was the first to post information about a Tell that vash has said is confirmed, can't get that information as Bomber

That's it for the 100% bunch.

Also essentially there: canadaguy. People we shushed and no one is disputing the claim from him.

Unfortunately, the 4 people I listed at first are also 4 of the 5 people who have had some "Tell" identified (even if they're weak ones).

Including the only other person with a tell, we can bring Jon into the mix. I just feel it would be weird for him to be the only person impacted by the conman by the third day when the bomber has only killed 1 non-mobster. There should be at least one other, and that's only if the bomber took out someone who would have had a tell.


So that's 6 people who cannot be the bomber (if you believe that Jon is mafia).

I thought I had found a better tell on Kelly for a second, where he had to vote by quoting someone who voted and then repeating it, since he did that twice today and didn't vote yesterday. But he voted twice on day 1 and only quoted someone and repeated it one of those times.


Interestingly enough, he's quoted and repeated cg's vote each time he did it.

shortkut has posted surprisingly few times for what we're used to out of him. And one of those was on day 1 where he "jokingly" said we should vote for a potential librarian suspect. That could be a strategy, or it could just be a slow shortkut game.

With tubby:

Yes, he went over the 30 post threshold on the day, but he was the 3rd person to do so (his 31st post was #379 on the day - he got to 30 early and then stopped right there until a second person broke the mark, since TD already did it by that point), as both TD and cg had done it first. Being the 3rd here is key: it would guarantee at least one other living person posting the same times or fewer than you (mafia could kill 1, which happened, and then there'd be another).

Could it be that he no longer feared a librarian because 2 other people had gone there and he's just a townie? Possible.
