I got a message on the first night whether that's Night 0 or 1 I'm now really confused that uses the words successfully activated

So yesterday Tubby confirmed that he left his trap where it started. Then earlier today he confirmed the understanding that a trap needs to be placed a night in advance, and that FQ's not understanding this meant she was not a Beast Hunter.

Tubby understood how the role worked then, and is now claiming he doesn't any longer. Or that he magically got an extra night phase no one else had.

Also to be clear, the Beast Hunter description says the "subsequent night the trap activates"

I highly doubt Zell would have used the word "activated" as a slip up in a message. And there wouldn't be a chance of getting that message in the day, because it wouldn't activate until the night.

Just trying to cover all of our bases here.

Hopefully it was a black potion that went to Kelly and we can end it tonight with a jail kill.

True, but if we really do know everyone then it really doesn't matter. There are currently 6 townies and we get 2 kills with your jailer one remaining. Even if we take out both wolves, and not tubby, today, with the avenger killing you (or a random voter if we vote Benzine instead of Kelly) we'd at most lose 3 townies (avenger kill, black potion, red potion on Kat) with a 3-1 advantage over the alchemist.

Despite not really understanding her role very well, FQ offered up a real timeline of events that matches with what's possible, even before having the role cleared up:

Night 1: Put it on herself
Night 2: Left it there
Night 3 (last night): Moved it to local

Which means all proposed timelines mean it would have been impossible for Vash to be protected last night.

So the trap did not block a potion delivery. IMO the alchemist didn't deliver a second to give the illusion one was stopped by a trap.

I can be trusted. I Night 0 picked number 4 for my trap and it activated successfully last night but Kelly was not targeted

Day 2 thread he once again confirms it stays on Kelly, but also says that he got a message saying the trap was activated the night leading into the thread. Whereas now he's saying he got a messages that confused him into thinking his trap activated on two occasions.
