Warp block swap with Goomba, then move up. And get the star if it's real.
1. Warp Block switches places with a random player. You won't get to choose who.
2. On Yoshi's turn it was revealed that the eastern-most star space is the real one. I just didn't remove the mirage because the real game doesn't do so until you pass it. Regardless, the real star would technically be just as close in that scenario if you were to launch yourself with the cactus.

Do you wanna do something different or still use the block? You'll keep the 6 you rolled.

OK use the block anyway.

Oddly enough, RNG was in your favor and you actually managed to switch places with Goomba. You can head straight toward the mirage, but I'm guessing you'd rather take a left into a cactus and buy a star?

If so, let me know if you also want to enter the item shop afterward, because you'd basically be ending up right back where you're starting.

Maybe you should run a game of wolf for us since your RNG isn't as borked as Zell's.

I actually considered doing a small mafia game for one of the mini-games as a goof, but didn't know how to make it work well. And I also didn't want to accidentally force anyone to play knowing some have quit the game for good.

Always did feel like I enjoyed running them more than playing them though

Toad runs face first into a cactus and is flung to the east side of the board, smashing into the signboard.
"Oh dear, quite a tumble you've taken Toad old boy! Here for your star I presume? Mm, very good, here you are"

TOAD GOT A STAR!
-20 coins
Here are the new star locations

GWMP Turn 12S.png

I'll go cactus then star. I'll go into the item shop too.
You head inside and see a koopa kid.

"GrAwrrr... Welcome to Baby Bowser's Joint! Whaddaya buyin' Mr. Moneybags?"
Skeleton Key - 5 coins:
Allows you to go through one gate.
Reverse Mushroom - 5 coins: Choose yourself or another player. When rolling their dice, the target must move backwards instead, but can choose any direction at junctions. Stacks with poison.
Poison Mushroom - 5 coins: Choose yourself or another player. The target can only roll 1-3 on their next movement. Stacks with reverse.
Bowser Phone - 10 coins: Call Bowser on the phone and choose a player to pose as, including yourself. You can also leave it to random chance if you like. Whoever is chosen receives a visit from Bowser as if they had landed on a Bowser Space.
Bowser Suit - 10 coins: Steal 20 coins from each and every player you pass while wearing this. Does not include anyone on the space you start your turn from.
Item Bag - 30 coins: Receive 3 random items immediately when bought.

You should have 88 coins left after buying the star if I did my math right.

Item bag please!
Baby Bowser tosses you a bag with a picture of his face on it. You empty it to find...

A Skeleton Key
another Skeleton Key
and a Reverse Mushroom

You stop on the same space you started, next to Yoshi...

It's time for a duel!

@Ben , as the initiator, you get to decide how many coins you will both wager. Minimum 1, Maximum 16.

Toad VS. Yoshi

32-Coin Duel Mini-Game!
O-Zone
1731393207341.png

How to Play
Try to find 3 Os before your opponent does. Each round, both players will choose a space to reveal with a ground pound. If you find an X, you will be shocked and lose a turn. You can choose the same space as your opponent, but you'll have to roll D100s to decide who gets there first, the loser wasting their turn. There are 5 Os and 4 Xs total. First to 3 wins.

@Ben @Spiner202 each of you pick a number.

YOSHI START!
@Spiner202
Items: Cellular Shopper, Barter Box

Left or forward, cacti jumps, etc. etc.

I would like to use my barter box on Goomba.

Edit: I will go left and attempt to jump over both cacti so that I can land on chance time.
Yoshi whips out his Barter Box, tosses his Cellular Shopper in, and raises it high. After a few moments the box opens again.

Yoshi receives Goomba's Lucky Lamp and Bowser Suit!

Goomba receives Yoshi's Cellular Shopper!

Roll me 2 D20s for the cactus jumps.

What numbers do I need to jump them both?

Edit: probably ones better than those :(
Just 5 or higher for each. Had a feeling you'd be the first to fail a cactus roll given how terrible your luck has been lately. You run headfirst into the first cactus and are flung over here:

The good news is, if you want to start a Battle, you'll have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Alternatively, you can head south and land on that blue space for a guaranteed 6 coins.
