The game also got a PS1 demake of sorts called Rayman Rush that only consisted of the racing segments.

This is a game I played when I was like five. It had no business having a cartoon-like character and looking like it was a game for kids. It was brutal hard. This was before some video game best-practice got established I guess, with reasonable lives, reasonable difficulty, that kind of thing.

It reminds me of Rayman 1. Rayman 1 looked really deceptive, looks like a game for kids but it's ridiculous how hard it is.

Conker's Pocket Adventures is an actual game. This does not look like that. Pocket Adventures is top down like the 2D Legend of Zelda games.

Oh! I played the demo of this game as a kid. Weird, but fun game.

I was a dumb kid who couldn't read English yet. My dad had a demo cd or just some random collection demos. Regardless i did beat whatever was on there for Skunny. Idk if it was only a level or a while world, but indonremember the Romans.

I used to play Skunny Kart, which unsurprisingly is a total rip-off of Mario Kart.

Edit: Actually Googled it to refresh my memory and it's based on stolen code for what became Wacky Wheels.

It is Descent! I did look for a screenshot from 1 so it should be 1.

Very fun game to play as a kid. I also vividly remember ducking my head as I went through tight openings. My dad also had a joystick so I was using that to play this.

Plus the thing with the bat that beat you up when you ran over it. That was always annoying.

I only had the shareware version, though given how similar the tracks are I doubt it made much difference.

My mum still calls Mario Kart "Skunny Kart" to this day!
