If they claim to be poly, are killed and then revealed as a villager (as halflings are), the people who led the charge would be next on the chopping block. That would put more people under the microscope (the wrong people) and would sow confusion and chaos in the town.

And we'd know by the end of day 2.

By that point, the wolves could have secured enough of an advantage without tipping their hand too much. That would be equivalent to one lynching, 2 wolf kills (alpha and pack), and potentially the marksman firing on their own.

That's definitely the way I'd interpret the rules. No minimum is mentioned so whoever has the most is lynched.

Which makes TDs vote a decision-forcer for the rest of us, unless a majority abstain counts

That's my understanding. Rules state pretty explicitly that there is an execution at the end of every day phase.

Theoretically, even if we all vote to abstain, then it would be a random lynch of any of us.

@Fire Queen can you confirm that even if more votes are to abstain there is still a lynch?

Well everyone else that voted has retained their second vote, I've also used my first vote. I have no issue with using a first but as far as I'm aware there's only one person who has used both.

I also said those that were second and third on the bandwagon were suspicious

My biggest tangible observation:

Olga loves the polycule.
Local Hero and shortkut both agreed.
Smacktard votes Olga for claiming polycule.
Olga states they were not claiming polycule.

This leads me to believe Smacktard is a polycule and Olga is not. This makes me rather curious of Hero and kut who jumped on it, but had no effort to disprove it - like Smacktard just jumped on.

Wait, that's why Smacktard said to vote Olga? I thought he was implying he was a seer or something similar which had checked her and he knew for sure she was evil. The polycule is an awesome addition, loving it isn't suspicious.

I think the day ends in a couple of hours (noon ET IIRC) and I have to get ready to do something today, so I'm not going to have time to follow this thread. In hopes that this will prevent a lynch if there aren't many votes, and I definitely don't want to lynch Olga for the reason given, I'm going to abstain.
