While there were certainly some voices that called for blood, no one was willing to be the deciding vote in someone's execution. So as the day grew on, the voices grew less angry and more focused. If someone was going to be put to death, there had to be absolutely no doubt about their guilt. Would the wolves spill blood first? Only time will tell as the moon rose in the clear night sky...
