Likewise, but I've been left home alone with my youngest all weekend, so I caved and picked up for 4/20. After I put him to sleep and I'm alone I plan to get absolutely buggered up and play some video games.

But then it's back to being a boring normal human.

I mostly just didn't want to be going through all the withdrawals from quitting if we were going to end up in the trenches fighting our fascist overlords. That's still a thought, but "fuck it I don't want to be fully present on this planet for when that starts" won some logical points too.

I sure didn't end up saving any extra money after stopping smoking, I just started spending it on other dumb shit, so... :shrug

For me, a doctor recommended I "decrease usage" because he thought it was exacerbating my ADHD symptoms. I quit for a couple weeks to see the difference and can't say that he was wrong. I've still been smoking about once a week, but it's less fun now that the lingering effects are more obvious to me.

Stupid doctors have to ruin everything fun.

I'm sure mine said something to the same effect, that it wasn't great for ADHD, but... Doctors say a lot of shit. Like "eat food" and "sleep". Pfft.

I might play some Fortnite since they've got a bunch of Star Wars stuff coming out. I might try to get myself back into Baldur's Gate 3 since they just patched it to have cross-play. I might just build some fucking Legos, as I have a dinosaur from my birthday only half put together.

Already finished Season 3 of Invincible last night, so I don't have that to binge anymore.

The issue as it was explained to me is that THC has cognitive effects that last longer than the psychoactive effects, and the buildup of THC from daily use means those cognitive effects are always present. They all have THC so I'm not sure how much a different strain would matter. I can't ever find the same strain for sale twice so I'm not sure finding an exception would help anyway.
