Gotta' learn. Cats love toast more.
He's VERY food obsessed, so he always makes a half-hearted attempt even though he knows I won't let him eat it, and do cats even like toast?

My other cat's favorite food is lettuce/spinach (yes, really), and it's so fun to offer it to Henry. His reaction is "why are you trying to poison me with vegetables?!" :rofl

Very few, most just like the toppings, lol.

Omg, sounds just like my old boy Paddy. Healthy food?? Get that away from me ASAP!

It's so sweet. I know how lucky we are to have not one, but two that will let us do it.
I have one that'll let me pet her pretty much anywhere. The other will bite with no warning while petting him on the back, even after he asked to get petted and is purring. The belly on him is an insta-bite. I guess 50/50 ain't bad?

Definitely not, having one that even lets you get that kind of time is great! I'm 0/5 with my kitties, no lovey belly rub times.

None out of five?! That's bad luck. I love to rub a fuzzy kitty belly.

My friend has a cat that loves to belly trap, but if I pet him with my toes then he gets confused and doesn't attack. (He's not a very bright cat.)

I used to have a giant ginger named Paddy, he was...not too bright, so I could get a good belly rub in before he realized what was happening and THEN get attacked, but yeah, none of my cats have been open to the belly rubs. It probably doesn't help that three of them were rescues from very bad situations, so it took a long time to build up the trust that they were safe and at home and they were ok with pets, just pets. I'll take that as a win.

Aww, lol, I love the slow cats, they're just dozy and cute :D

I should clarify that post, I suppose -- 17 years and she passed this morning. Still coming to terms with that one, I'm really going to miss her.

That’s an incredible life for a cat, though. The fact that she lived that long is proof that y’all gave her an awesome life. You’re very lucky to have gotten the time you had with her, but I’m sorry for your loss regardless.

Yeah, absolutely incredible life, she outlived all of our other cats and two dogs. She was our first and she was our last (for now at least).

You’re an animal lover, one will cross your path that will grab at your heart in due time, when it’s meant to happen. It’ll never replace the pets you’ve lost over the years, but you don’t strike me as the type to go without an animal friend for very long. I bet animals gravitate towards you.

I still have a doggo, Skye. She's my one and only now. My sister and her partner have two, but Skye's mine. I love her.

Not going to post the video or pictures because it involves kids that are not mine.

But yesterday Somer met some friends kids, 4 and 1. The 4 year old was obsessed, and Somer did great playing with him. So great that the next day he drew a picture of her, then later told his mom that he missed Somer and asked "how did she know to chase me?!"

I think the impression she left is going to force them to get a dog lol. What a cute and fun interaction the whole thing was.

That sounds so wholesome, and definitely sounds like they're on the road to puppydom :D
