We're also looking for suggestions for another community event we can put together that we can all enjoy! Come and give us some suggestions HERE
  • Our second year of the NFL Pick 'Em is open to join now. You can join directly here and get involved in the weekly threads over in the Picks forum.
  • If you are reading this message, congratulations! You are on the new server! You made it!!

Do you have any pets?

I know this is an aging post, but I feel like I've been on a mission trying to defend you against this "lol benzine is a alcoholic" stereotyping. If only because continuing to tell someone they're a drunkard after they've moved on from those days diminishes any progress they've made in recovery.

Not to say you had that serious a problem at any point, but I get the impression that isn't how you want to be represented. GWF is all about allowing the previous horrible humans that we were to slough off, revealing the immaculate butterflies within.

I'm just playing into it, I don't mind at all. There's no recovery to be seen here.

  • Cheers!

lol, love it!! Little milk thief :D

It's hilarious, I wish I could get a picture of me pouring the milk into the measuring cup cuz that one's even funnier, and anytime my wife or I are making overnight oats he knows like he comes running into the kitchen, he has memorized I guess the sound of the different containers

Oh 100% they know the sounds, they're incredibly intelligent in that regard, lol. They know what sounds interest them and they are not afraid to come charging in to make their interests known! My boys always came running for any resealable bag because they sound just like the treat bags, so even if you were just trying to enjoy some mixed nuts, you had two furry faces staring at you like you were starving them and their lives depended on you giving them just a drop of something, please.

I used to have a cat who would wake up from a dead sleep across the house if I got out ice cream. It didn't matter what container it was in or how quiet I was. He knew.

Ah, sounds like my old boy Paddy. Least adventurous cat until food came into play, THEN he was everywhere.

Now he waits at the top of the stairs, waiting for our Son to wake up and open the gate so that he can sprint in and get the other cat's food. One has been hanging out upstairs and the other downstairs but they roam around the whole house now a little bit more

Frustrating when that happens, because come on, dude! lol, but at least the new kitties are getting more adventurous. Hopefully they'll get to the point where they're claiming their food before he gets anywhere near it :). I'd say grab those RFID feeders, but those are so damn expensive!

We bought two for them. Vinny is on a timer one, hopefully it can work, I dont see the other two fighting him off for his and he sprints to his food the second it goes off

Oh wow, well hopefully he gets the hint that *ding fries are done* is the cue that it's time for him to feed, and other food noises means it's time for the other kitties to feed, lol.

I think he likes it a little bit he will play sometimes with some toys so hopefully he does like it
I used to have a cat who hated kittens until he realized they'd let him chase them around as much as he wanted. Then they were his absolute best friends. It took longer than you might guess, so Fat Orange might still warm up to them.

Unfortunately, one of my cats has cancer. I feel like it hasn't even really hit me yet that we might lose him. He's only 7. I never had cats before this but he doesn't seem that old.
It's not that old, they usually live about double that, give or take a few years.

Poor guy, he's so fluffy! I hope there's a treatment that's effective and doable for you.
