I might just go totally off the rails for the next game
Vash should have brought you back. The poetry of bringing back the wolves first kill. Great story even if you didn't have the needed talents.I didn't get to play this one, so I'm down for another game. I can understand you not wanting to run one for a spell, though.
YOU FUCKING KNOW I WOULDAlso I made a joke that if ants was paired with wolf kut and ants was a priest he would still water him and be the first person to win both badges in a single go
Nah, Ants was the better option. Plus, if it looked like you two were going to gain the upper hand, I would have thrown you under the bus. I told Vash as much in a sarcastic "I totally won't stab you in the back" manner.Vash should have brought you back. The poetry of bringing back the wolves first kill. Great story even if you didn't have the needed talents.
Maybe considering someone usually ends up quitting the games after every single iteration, everyone should do a better job being nice to each other instead of being dicks. Also people taking shit said in game way too personally. The betrayal stuff is said within the context of the game -- whatever you can say to nudge the game slightly in your favor. Cole and Cash gotta chill about that.
Shift A and Shift BGood morning Vashthew. That probably means I should go to bed.
That's how I do my bed time now. When Vash posts for the first time in some hours, I best go to bed.
5:08am hereI assume it's it's 610 for Vash. That's pretty early to be posting.
Haha nahNot meta game off the rails though right
I didn't realise there was a 5.08 in the am5:08am here
Oh, you must still be asleep. I've never been in someone's dream from this perspective before.5:08am here
What I said was 100% in context of the game and only meant that way. It wasn't taken that way, and therefore I should be sure to not make comments like that again. That's why I've been apologizing. It doesn't matter what my intent was when the result was bad. Also people taking shit said in game way too personally. The betrayal stuff is said within the context of the game -- whatever you can say to nudge the game slightly in your favor. Cole and Cash gotta chill about that. If I betrayed my wife in the game she'd probably be pissed, and I would 100% expect anyone to do their best to exploit that weakness
Because, in the end, it's all just a game. It doesn't matter. People are still just taking it way too seriously
Until now, the general consensus seemed to be that we're better off without people who take the game so seriously as to take things personally.Maybe considering someone usually ends up quitting the games after every single iteration, everyone should do a better job being nice to each other instead of being dicks.
Or we can just keep losing possible players out of attrition.
I just made a thread in the t-dome explaining my side of the situation so I'm not going to rehash it here. If you're interested, it's there.Until now, the general consensus seemed to be that we're better off without people who take the game so seriously as to take things personally.
But I wouldn't want you to lose you as a participant. You were dealt an awful hand last game and you played it to the best way you conceivably could. You're a great player and you're fun to play with. You never struck me as the type to take something so personally that was clearly said in the spirit of the game, so I assume this was a one-off.
I know it was probably just a question of perception. You didn't want to be perceived as a bad husband, and Christina didn't want others perceiving you as one, either. But no one really thinks of you that way. You and Christina have been together for almost two decades now. We may have lost touch over the years, but you two were some of my favorite PIMI posters -- way back when we were like a pack of feral cats and you were our shepherd. It's awesome to see you two still together after all these years.
So that's why I don't think you should take things personally (easier said than done, I know). It's all just part of the game, and it's important that we can sort of compartmentalize that. We're old enough and mature(ish) enough and respectful enough of each other that we would never really mean one another any harm with the shit we sling in the middle of a wolf game.
Except for Tubby. Fuck that guy.
I just made a thread in the t-dome
CG’s next idea for a comic.
This is one of the many reasons I'm done too. I've been feeling this the last few games I've played.I'm down for another game. I'm not going to be effortposting anymore though because there doesn't seem to be a point.
Respectfully, I disagree. Even if we didn't know you were the RK, that argument was full of holes.I offered Tubby up as RK, which was completely plausible until I was lynched
Yeah Vash stop vaguebooking!I gotta imagine people reading that thread in the Thunderdome without the context of this thread / the game are going to feel like they're getting subtweeted at
I think if you guys had the ability to chat during the day you probably shadow on somebody else, right?Fwiw - Tubby dying and getting trickstered had nothing to do with you, we had to decide that the night before, long before you claimed aura seer.
You know what might've saved you? Using your kill. Don't know when you suspected Christina/Vash but if you suspected them Day 2, should've killed Christina then.
Hindsight is easy to talk about though but as a few others have said, they'd kill every night as RK.
They all do. His name is Zell.Anyways this couple idea went SO WELL that I think the next game will have fixed Instigator
Absolutely.I think if you guys had the ability to chat during the day you probably shadow on somebody else, right?
Oh maybe some actual good will come of it thenI gotta imagine people reading that thread in the Thunderdome without the context of this thread / the game are going to feel like they're getting subtweeted at
It has definitely been that way so far. Eventually, the wolves will sell somebody early, because they CAN. After that people will probably start taking "info" with more thought. At the end of the day with the way these games are designed, the moment you are openly accused from a role reveal role there's honestly no point in fighting it.
It wasn't though. Everything was consistent. Tubby could've been the RK, Vash and Christina WERE working together, and my fake aura checks lined up (except for Tubby, which was not provable).Respectfully, I disagree. Even if we didn't know you were the RK, that argument was full of holes.
No, trickster can decide any time:Fwiw - Tubby dying and getting trickstered had nothing to do with you, we had to decide that the night before, long before you claimed aura seer.
I didn't suspect them until Vash accused me. In retrospect I should've used my kill, yes, but it was also my cover for protecting myself after accusing Tubby of being a fake aura seer. You know what might've saved you? Using your kill. RK Raposa was practically useless in the previous game (mostly by bad luck) and if he played his cards better in the final round he would've had a 50/50 shot at winning.Hindsight is easy to talk about though but as a few others have said, they'd kill every night as RK.
But it was. It's unbecoming to think your argument was without holes. We get blinders to our own play, yes, but you had many holes. It wasn't though. Everything was consistent. Tubby could've been the RK, Vash and Christina WERE working together, and my fake aura checks lined up (except for Tubby, which was not provable).
LOL Kelly, you really gonna tell me no?No, trickster can decide any time:
Wolf Trickster: Can select a non-wolf player. Can change the player selected at anytime via PM
I've always wanted to play Corrupter or Illusionist because they can cause so much chaos and confusion. I was pretty disappointed that we did have a Corrupter and no kills from it.It has definitely been that way so far. Eventually, the wolves will sell somebody early, because they CAN. After that people will probably start taking "info" with more thought.

When I was RK I chose to kill Holly the first night at first, and then changed my mind and decided not to kill anybody in case someone checked me. Which was a good call, because they did check me and has Zell pointed out it changed the entire course of the game.
Speaking of which, I seemed to have set this whole thing off by choosing Christina one night two. Maybe I should get a badge for coming up with all of these game-altering night actions. Lol
All due respect, being able to choose a suicide role as the role you can predict dying is pretty unbalanced.I know TD was a little upset he got role revealed, but give Ben credit too. It's hard to pick both an evil player AND a person that will die in the same night.
Except for Tubby. Fuck that guy.

Regardless if I was the discovery or not.
