My agreement with Vash to be revived was that it was up to the town to decide if they get to win as a couple. So far the town looks like they want a townie win and not a solo win.

Jailing in its self is protection to the person jailed. The jailed person just can't use their power. Then the jailer has the option of killing one person per game while in jail.
