Nah see this annoys me because I straight up said towards the end of the last game I'm not role claiming anymore. It's not as fun a game for me, like I said back in like the second game I played.

If that makes me look suspect, so be it. But I'm not playing by other people's rules, I'm playing to have fun.

OOC: There are some people who inherently enjoy the cold reads and element of surprise. I don't think this is really an in-game move for what he's doing. If he's a random role, you are indeed asking him to claim. Back to in character...

I can see how it could be interpreted as suspicious. Not role claiming is something people have inherently deemed suspicious, similar to frequency of posts. I don't think that alone makes him suspicious and I expect Vash to stick to his guns a la Jawneh from your last game.

I guess I'll start from the beginning since it seems like people are confused.

I just want the two remaining random roles to claim today. When they claim doesn't matter, just as long as it happens today. Why today? Because we need to make a decision on lynching today. It narrows the eventual claim space for the evils when they get pressed.

If you are a villager, there is no legitimate reason to want to keep a random role hidden. The chances that we would be helping the Dingo are small, but the value to the village in claiming is tremendous. Villagers should want to help the village win. If you are afraid of claiming because you want to prioritize your own long-term survival over helping the village win, you frankly aren't a good teammate.

If you are a predator, you should be pushing very hard against claiming. Having to make a claim puts you in a box from which you cannot hide.

When TD says "We just lynch the last to claim", that is true, in that if 4 people claim the random roles and then someone else tries to claim one later on Day 5, they're gonna die. That's just logic. Not because "they claimed last", but because they allowed someone else to claim their role for days and said absolutely nothing about it.

If they're so inclined, one of them can fake a baddie read on the Joey, get them killed, and voila - the Dingo is one of them.

Jawneh is a great example. He was silent, nearly got lynched by all villagers, and the wolves figured out his exact role that night anyways.

Keep in mind for the no claims: the only people you are hiding your role from is the villagers. By tomorrow night the evils will know the exact role of every single player, they probably know all but a couple right now.

I don’t get it. Bandwagons happen all the time. Let’s say Vash is the Joey. We lunch him today, we just added an additional predator to get rid of, reduced our town by one, and prevented the option of a small 2 person voting block from knowing each other
