In theory, sure, but you're overlooking the biggest factor - the propensity for the town to implode and shoot themselves in the foot.

Truth. He said his daughter was sick too, so I do sympathize with him. At least Tommy died before getting to reveal him as the lowest ranking remaining wolf, so he didn't get burned there.

Just realized Jon and Quagmire are the only ones who can't kill anybody. The rest are priest, flagger, warden, arsonist, and a wolf (even though the arsonist is temporarily impotent).

Benzine can't kill Christina because she'll be jailed. If he kills Jon, that'll leave Alu and Christina who can back each other up after the jailing (unless Alu could be convinced to suspect Christina).

So benzine's best shot is to kill Alu. Christina can't flagger in jail and can't flagger a lynch. Not sure what Jon will do as he could pick any dead power and neither benzine nore Christina are provable.

I'm not going to just end it and say the town wins, even if it's the most likely outcome. They can skip phases to end it faster if they want, but it's definitely not fair to Benzine for me to just call it before he gets to act.
