That would make sense, because Zell role claimed seer, Alu says his role is provable, and dimmerwit's dead, so his testimony could either support or condemn one of them.

I'm expecting Zell to play the shaman card if Alu does turn out to be Town, though. He already planted the seed for that by bring up shamans earlier. So he could be wolf playing false seer or he could be legit and is covering for that possibility.

We'll see what the opening of day 2 brings.

Who do you think Jon will be checking? Zell and Alu?
If I'm Jon I'm checking someone versus Vash. Finding out Zell and Alu are on opposite teams doesn't give any new information from Zell's claim.

Check a known entity against an unknown, easiest way to determine if Zell is anti-town.

Alu wanted to jail Vash and dimmerwit. In fact, I had that all written up and ready to go, but when I woke up to publish they'd moved enough votes to dimmerwit for him to die.

He messaged me about 10 minutes after the day closed saying he'd had to take his wife to hospital and couldn't get back in time to change it.

So I feel for him, but didn't let him pick someone else after the day had closed.

Seems harsh but I can't say it doesn't make sense if he's supposed to make his pick before the lynching, because doing it after the lynching gives him extra info on who to jail so it would be an extra advantage the role isn't supposed to have.

Right, this is what I resolved to. If there had been any other situation in which you showed up 10 minutes after the day ended, and wanted to change your action, that wouldn't fly.

I don't feel bad about that, necessarily, just about his wife being under the weather.

I say MVH because he told me he was going to log in 5 minutes before close, after they'd parked, but his wife asked to find a breakfast place and he chose (wisely) to do that instead.

It's kind of both things.

I'd been working on my own version of wolf for a while, since I posted in the game idea thread with a ruleset proposition. It'd just been sitting in a me-only forum (actually my D&D DM forum) while I worked on it.

Once I took over this one for Benzine, I just edited that to work as the first post for this one. So the thread was definitely made a while ago.

Run Away Donald Glover GIF by Childish Gambino

Me after infiltrating Ben's "me-only" forum.
I mean, I guess I lied. Mark, Crystal, Cole and Vash can see it too. But the sentiment is the same.

Now if you'd just stop running so fast so we can catch you...

One question - can mods/admins see scheduled posts?
Yes, they can. And I'm not certain to what extent.

I think anyone with mod permissions within a certain forum can see scheduled content. Anyone with global moderator or pseudo-admin powers can also see scheduled posts, but I found out that Vash could see the scheduled DM too. He was responding to the thread before it'd actually published, so... That was good.

I've not been using scheduled posts much because of that, I've just been trying to get things set up before I go to bed, then setting an 8:55am alarm to wake up and publish stuff.

Joke was on me when I'd set everything up as a no vote, with Alu jailing Vash and dimmerwit, then woke up to find that was all now irrelevant. :laugh

Kind of interesting how tonight's events seem to be squaring up. This is assuming the wolves don't change their mind before 9pm.

I'm going to put these things in the "hidethanks" blocks as well as spoilers. That way even if Jon does show up here I'll be able to tell whether he likes my post in order to read the comment. So if you're Jon and reading this (before the game ends), don't!

I think his plan was to take bodyguard next night though, so he'll probably not actually get here ever.

Yeah, that was what I thought.

Also, didn't I only need 6 votes to die?

How does that reveal work? I didn't need to like the post to see it.

Sorry for the questions but if @Crystal is the server goddess you are the forum wizard.
Nah, valid question. If you CAN see it without reacting, there might be a permission on some usergrouo you've got that's wonky. I'll dig for that when I'm not on my phone.

That said, I'm not sure he's the Fool. I think his play makes a lot of sense with what's about to happen.
I can DM you the list of roles if you want. I realized the one person who could possibly speak in here can't resurrect any of you, so there's no danger of you returning with forbidden knowledge.
