The problem with predictably trapping yourself is that your trap will typically never spring. The exception being if nobody knows there is a BH in the game and you claim marksman or something. If you go random you can protect two people: Yourself, who the wolves would never dare attack, and wherever your trap is.

If you go random too, you could accidentally place the trap on a wolf, or you could be killed if the wolves don't know your role and your trap never springs.

I imagine Kat is getting nuked now? Or maybe Vash. Everyone else would be a poor choice. Tubby might be the only wild card that can still win this for the town. Otherwise it seems a lot like Cupid or accidental wolf win since Cupid cant.

I don't think the wolves are ever gonna sus out TD as not being truly on their side. I think the only way the wolves can win is if they spike the beast trap, which would kill off the couple.

We knew. At least I did. When I first talked about the couples and Dean said it wasn't him, I immediately suspected TD was playing us too, but I didn't have skills to outmaneuver him. So, I played along. He was too willing to sac wolves, as long as it wasn't him. And he had too many "I've got a plan but not yet" told me he had to confirm with someone else if it'd work. I didn't suspect Raine till too late, but that's the issue. I would have been happy to help them win. But Cupid is stupid.

Yeah. I mentioned this in the last thread but I don't think people really took notice. If I was a villager I'd put people in categories.

I only quoted portion for posterity, but the issue is there are MORE than a few people that do not WANT nor LIKE to play that way. Some of us like the detective work. Outright role claiming absolutely ruins this.

Gotta give it to TD this time around. Raine did just enough to stay out of prime sus range, but looking from the sidelines definitely was playing way differently from normal. Maybe that should've caused some questions at some point. As well as only ever visiting Kat? Don't think she did anything else. And Tommy has been graced with being a token villager to pave the way for the first ever Cupid W. But TD did a great job facilitating this shit in the background from what I can see.

Personally, I've played enough games where the absolutely frustrating part of this game is there are two classes of people: those that say jump and everyone follows and those who are always on a radar no matter what they do.

It all begins to feel a little too much Kobayashi Maru for my liking.

So I'm gonna try the I just don't care thing next, because at this point with Zell's RNG, I'm either a wolf or useless anyway.

I had hoped that my attempts at goading the wolves to kill me to basically waste a kill or just kill other more powerful players until I got information would work. It might have, but the fact that Dean was a Wolf Seer ruined the whole thing.
