Hoping @Benzine is reviving you, @Tubby23

I would go after Kat, Jawneh, and Jon

I know it seems obvious, but I mean... Raposuh and Cole were the most obvious

TRaineD were doing some 3D Chess shit, but I'm going for the blatant suspects
TRaineD is a good wrestling tag Team name.

Yep agree on those targets.

I see it the same way. That said shortkut and Alu in still not sure we can 100% clear. But I think that's me trying to make things more difficult than they might be

It probably IS more complicated than it seems, but if I were still alive, I would go with the most obvious first. I feel like Local probably IS the Alpha, if there is one.

I would take Jawneh out next if it were me.

I feel like it would be easier to manipulate Kat, but to be honest, I haven't read the thread as closely as I did when I was alive.

But if you halfway act like you might STILL believe Kat, but need her to go along with voting for Jawneh, Jon, etc., she might do it.

That said, you would want to have enough votes to where if she turned on it last minute, you would still have enough.

Then when the time comes, you take Kat out, Local reverts from Alpha to regular wolf, and gets taken out with one lynch or whatever attack (assuming somebody can attack).

Nah Kat gave up yesterday when shortkut kept rebutting her for that 2 hours or so. So I think in terms of trying to manipulate her into thinking we believe her is quite unlikely.

It was really sus to me how quickly she pushed/believed the Tubby is the Flagger narrative because she's a lot craftier than me so found it really strange when she "believed" me straight away.

Haha, I should go read this myself, but like... Everybody knows she's a wolf but she's just kinda hanging out?

So I didn't really pay attention yesterday. How many people think Kelly is voodoo wolf because he 100% is. He sacrificed Cole who didn't even want to play to earn more credibility.
Never let it be said that this man is not 10,000% dedicated to every bit he does.

Not quite as good as his Fool bit, but still.

Act like a wild animal and fling feces, they'll never see it coming! Also free advertisement for your next game. 👀

Your (potential) resurrection is different than TD's was, so definitely consult the priority list. And Zell, probably, just to be safe.

Don't fuck up, Cloud! :wave

Lol that's great. I mean, she could try to play it as being sarcastic later, but I doubt it.

Good times.
I knew I was done for when Cole got checked, especially when he tried to paint Tommy as bad. He got cranky nobody tried to defend him and I knew I'd be exposed anyway so I did it.

It was really sus to me how quickly she pushed/believed the Tubby is the Flagger narrative because she's a lot craftier than me so found it really strange when she "believed" me straight away.
I swear this wasn't a ploy and we all legit thought you were flagger, lmao.

We were not a good wolf team. We had the win practically handed to us and we fucked it up. Well done, town.

The amount of time and energy it takes to be a wolf (much less Fool/Killer, I'd imagine) is indeed pretty drastic. I was putting in ~5 hours a day during that first Confusion Wolf game. There's too much to do and keep track of on top of maintaining public appearances.

Not accounting for the... other issues. 👀

And what was that?
Cole prodding definitely shot him to the top of my personal suspects list. Intended to toss him and Kat into the brig Night 2.

Amusingly, Zell forgot to put the "During the day" part into the Warden's description. So I tried putting 4 and 5 (shortkut and Kat) into prison Night 0.

Speaking of shortkut - wolf or no, if he's not watching Tubby tonight I'm calling shenanigans on his ass. :chuckle

Edit: Oh, Kelly got ganked? ...I mean I guess, why not. :shrug

Surprised at how short this dead thread was. I expected a lot more commentary on that first day, especially as it was called in advance here (false evil claim, lead a lynch). I still don't know why so many people believed me, might be the first successful "nah I'm not actually evil" defense that worked.

It may have had something to do with for some reason targeting Tommy with votes instead of me there. I didn't understand why that happened, and still don't.

soon as everyone realized you could force people to name their roles and process of elimination the rest, the games moot
This. I don't like this. It tilts the game towards reputation and takes the fun detective part of the game out of it. It's a brute force method that makes fairness difficult.

In the mafia game between the tells and the hints, made having to identify people the fun part of the game. Where only really the person on the stand can go role claim mode.

Here, with Kelly pulling a Leeroy Jenkins thing from the get, it made it really hard to stay hidden. and I know that's the point... but man, to say the wolves weren't disadvantaged from THAT would be a lit. The rest was random roles and the unlucky snag of Cole on night 0.

Jawneh didn't claim anything.
Hey, when have I ever until I actually do something?! The only time I did was the instigator game. And at that time none wanted to entertain my story either about being a humble farmer and trying to protect a powerful role by enlisting Dean as a decoy. But nope.

It's a good plan. I just don't like it personally. I could be a normal villager, or the gunner, or a wolf, or a marksman. There's no telling and I try not to give away much in my posts so that the wolves/town have to use resources to find anything out from me.

Yeah, it's not how I'd prefer to play either and in the future I probably wouldn't go along with it as a townie...but I was all about trying new things this game. Short lived as that was for me.

More info only helps the town. That's how the town wins.
From what I heard, the town doesn't have a hard time winning these games.

You're FORCING lies and AHA! moments doing this and it made this game a far less enjoyable one than mafia imo. Still enjoyed this immensely, town played great, but I don't like that style.

I feel like if the plan was to claim evil and get the lynch in there, then shortkut may have been another/better option. I feel like he had more suspicions cast on him than I did and also had no actual way to prove who he was.

No clue how that would have turned out though - I know I would have had a harder time (obviously, since it would have been between believing myself and believing shortkut).

Yeah this version requires the wolves to lie. And it's something we're coming to terms with as a group I think, haha.

So Raine is the Warden I'm guessing since I'm Tough Guy and was killed in jail?

Also pasting this to review later but in jail I said these six are bad:
Local, Raposuh, Jawneh, Benzine, Cole, Jon

I feel strongly about Local, Raposuh, Jon, Cole, and Jawneh. Benzine was hard to judge due to time zones.
Again, very good initial reads
Killing me after Day 1 is becoming the thing to do - just like it was in OG GW. This is three straight games where I've been targeted by the bads after Day 1.

I'll be taking a pretty sizeable break.
Please don’t take a break
I do feel like people are missing the glaringly obvious fact that half the players are intentionally acting in bad faith because that’s their role. :chuckle

If they aren’t making sense, they’re probably Ee-vil!
This is exactly how the town figured them out. It felt like they were scrambling this game
Tell all the wolf names to someone on the town side?

Would never happen. No one would ever take that shortkut to infamy.
Who would ever do such a thing?
i try to say that people who use reads are dumb but if kut isn't a wolf i'm gonna have to gouge my eyes out, it's just screaming at me
Sorry for blinding you
Somebody tell Cole that @shortkut spent the entire game being mad at @Fool's Requiem for stealing his role, instead of the hussy that actually did it. He definitely doesn't remember this. :rofl

Cole was a beautiful Flower Child that game though, it's true.
I have no recollection of this game. Was this when I called him a dumdum like 10 times?
I almost always try to get bandwagons going in the first day or two to try and flush out wolves. But then I never have the patience to go back and reexamine the bandwagons later when the information might actually be useful.

But that's Uncle Derp for ya :link

This. The wolves biggest misplays were
  1. Kat role claiming after they turned the fan. Could have let us think there was just no kill
  2. Piling on Tommy not Alu, when the fake deer called him evil
  3. Not killing benzine before he could revive anyone

I had a really hard time with that. Especially when I had doubt cast upon me when I hadn't actually done anything yet. Made me decide to play the passive approach to the game... which made Cole pissed at me. I couldn't win no matter what I did. Lying that hard was impossible when you have someone so boisterous that challenges EVERYTHING regardless of evidence. (**CoughKellycough**) lol

So now I'm even more confused at the innocent people that said Kelly's initial plan was bad for the town.

It was the way he was forcing the issue. In my opinion, it directly lead to the double berserker kill

I never envy the wolves in the game. I didn't do that well. The first night or two, I think you get lulled into a false sense of security. Once the role claiming starts and you have fewer places to hide, it is very difficult.

I know for me, if I have a powerful townie role, I want to wait until I can get a read and at least use it once before I totally expose my role and risk getting killed earlier.

It also sucks that the townies who are normally good at finding wolves (TD, Cole, etc.) tend to be killed early by the wolves, so they aren't a threat later.

  1. Can't speak to Kat's decisions.
  2. I have NO idea why they went after Tommy. To me Tommy was the only non-suspicious townie.
  3. We had to guess multiple protections. And his revive is permanent. Even had we got him, the revive supersedes his death. That was kinda what screwed us. The fact it doens't fizzle on his death.
