Idle thoughts while at work, with again the major caveat that I've read only half of Day 1 and probably under a page of Day 2 and nothing in fine detail:

- I'm not going to trust the Shaman Defense. We (me, Cole and TD) came up with that shit! It's bogus.
- If it weren't bogus, though: Why Alu? Why choose to Shaman Alu instead of Local or Kelly? It doesn't make sense.
- All these protection claims... and false protection claims. This is either a legitimately stacked town (see below) or a deliberate anti-town act to orchestrate a successful Berserk kill (also see below).
- But then why choose TD to pop Berserk on, even with their foresight to ask whether it negates Tough Guy, et al (which never even crossed my mind)
- ...They have two Berserk wolves, don't they. đź‘€

I forget who it was but someone was adamant about a plan to spread out protection. Establishing that on Day 1 only increases the chances of a berserk kill hitting more than one. If a wolf orchestrated it and the town bit, it was a great wolf play.

I strongly hinted I shouldn't be protected but I know you didn't see it and it was too late.

Fwiw - I think Tubby and Dean are legit. I think Kat is full of it. I think they got the Fan Night 0.

I doubt it. I remain highly confident on my read on Local, like highly confident - especially with how the days played out. I think Tommy is legit so I'm guessing they're dealing with an Alpha.

The town needs a lot to go right, one mistake and it's over. Hopefully Dean does good tonight.

I think it was either Tubby or Kat. I would agree that Tubby is legit - he was on board with the "Local must die to trigger Guardian usage" bit.

But even if the wolves didn't direct it, having one or more false claims creates openings they can safely choose from or double up on. Warden was the only perceived outlier and... well. Here I am! đź‘€

Most logical course of action for Dean is to just play it safe and poison Raposuh, yeah? So I think that's probably a shoe-in.

Unless he watches a bit o' wrasslin' and cooks up some harebrained scheme. :rofl

Yes, it is logical - but after reading Day 2 and watching Dean literally talk himself out of his own thought process what felt like a thousand times, I don't think it's a guarantee.

Hopefully he doesn't overthink this one.

Benzine hinted don't protect seers to Tubby, guessing his spell is on Tommy.
Dean should kill Raposuh.
Dean should use his protect potion on Tubby.
Tubby should protect Dean.
Kelly should silence Cole.
Tommy checks Kat, Jawneh, or Jon.

Wolves might still have confusion 2.

Alu has claimed a useless role and was called Evil. kut claimed Sheriff so needs to pick who dies which will be tough.

I also wouldn't be entitely surprised if Kat is the actual Sorcerer and Raposuh is the front for it. Kat explicitly claimed a role with a Good aura.

Raposuh would be simpler but Cole is involved, so, yeah.

Hmmm not as interesting. I think I'll just leave my thing on Dean. The logic being he's known to be good, and that's a pillar to kill to help sow further confusion. He'll probably hit both of his potions tonight though is the thing... so mightn't even be worth it. Actually yeah fuck I'm taking it off him.

I think the problem is that, frankly, you would be Wolf Enemy #1. The Ritualist spell is a wrench in their plans; making you set it, potentially onto one of them (Kat lol), and killing you off would essentially guarantee their win no matter how much the town pulls it together.

The only confirmed townie you have is Dean... otherwise, varying degree of risk. Tommy is essentially cleared, Kelly is likely (I think?) fine... hail mary on Tubby. Definitely don't give it to Kat.

I feel like it's hard to judge how well you're doing mid-game. There are just so many variables, and lies, that it's hard to keep proper perspective.

Objectively speaking though I cannot agree that it's stacked against the wolves. Pending final RRV reveals, I think it's fairly evenly matched with the way things have played out so far.

I'll finish the full thought after the game ends. Or at least after Benzine is confirmed scooted. đź‘€

I don't get the logic in killing you either, Dean. First burning the Berserk on TD (and catching me, again, so fair game) - and then killing someone that ostensibly would protect themself/be protected/be Spelled, whom they more importantly couldn't stop from killing them.

There's a thought process here that I'm not following, and I'm very curious. 🤔

So having not had sufficient time to really dive into anything, or truly read anything...

Just casually browsing the drama and intrigue in the living thread right now is a hoot. Fully popcorn-worthy. This is pretty great.

I'm actually torn on whether Cole is actually a wolf, or if he's just completely off his game because of his bout with COVID. I legit thought he was protesting too much about the latter - sort of like how my nephew does when he wants to skip school :chuckle - but I'm teetering!
