I presume it loaded in those posts after you had opened the thread so it won't retroactively update the numbers.

I'm having trouble following everyone's logic. I brought this up earlier but nobody answered it yet.

A lot of people are sold on shortkuts defense of "why would he claim a provable role he can't prove," but also think it's super unlikely Quagmire wasn't the illusionist without giving a reason for why they feel that way. Quagmire also chose a provable role (as Zell and others pointed out repeatedly on day 1), one that would have put him in a bad light on day 2 if it were a lie, and also he didn't activate his night 1 kill before dying.

So why does basically the same argument work for shortkut but not for Quagmire?

Because shortkut can't find a reason to not prove his roll at this point. He dies today or not. If he doesn't he was lying.

I claimed a role that kills me EOD. It would be suspicious if I claimed tough guy and had no info

Not really, it's a fair question. Why would Quagmire claim marksman when he could have claimed another role that would have stayed plausible for more than a day?
It's like claiming beast hunter. You can come up with a reason your mark wasn't on the right person or you couldn't take your shot. That's why I didn't buy the argument from Zell. Zell's main point was the chance of a kill roll. That is why I voted for Dimmer at the start. Changed after it felt like others were going that way.

Fair point, but seems like a risk. Someone had already mentioned the banana incident and how suspicious that argument already looks now because of it.

It's not your claim I care about. The outright disregard for Quagmire possibly being not-illusionist is what intrigues me. I'm just wondering if I missed an argument that was made.
It has been mentioned multiple times he may not be the illusionist. Today is about your death

I'm still voting for Ants, largely because the wild play by shortkut would need to be pretty wild and we need to be aligned in order to possibly beat the wolf vote.

But I'm also fully suspecting the mastermind wolf team play where shortkut is shadow wolf who used his power up so is now worthless, so claimed tough guy to put shade on some potential seer, while the wolves are coordinating votes to off a threat, probably me. If kut doesn't die at the end of today and we learn he's a wolf, that's just another day we've got to waste executing him tomorrow which buys the other wolves more time.

We would however never know that if we kill shortkut today, we have to let it play out, so it is what it is.

But that's just a theory... A wolf theory.

Today is my date day with my girlfriend so I won't be around much and didn't read most of the thread. What I did catch makes it pretty obvious IMO that Ants is a wolf and kut is telling the truth.

If there's something I need to know to decide who to defend tonight, please tag me. I can't promise I'll have the energy or sobriety to catch up on the entire thread later.

And if shortkut is headhunter taking advantage of a bad wolf kill attempt then god bless him he’s earned the W
